The show last night here in Chicago was incredbile. Tig absolutely killed and her crowd work was making me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. GOOD ONE!

Loved this show. I'd actually never heard of Heather Lawless, Tig's opener, before, and she made me laugh so hard that I couldn't keep my eyes on her for most of her set. Then Tig came out and destroyed. Having listened to the CD already, Tig's crowdwork made everything on there seem totally new. The show on the whole was the hardest I've laughed at live comedy since attending Louis CK's One Night Stand a few years ago. She signed autographs, too, and I got a "Good One" shirt of, presumably, Tig as a he-she looking robot.

I've seen Tig a couple times... one time at UCB NY and she did about 20 minutes. Then last year in Minneapolis on a night when David Feldman was at Acme, Patton Oswalt and Kyle Kinane were at the State Theatre and Tig was at a small theatre of which I can't remember the name. I had been telling my friend how great she was live, but I don't think he really believed me. The crowd was kind of shit for her warm ups... like 3 middle age drunk ladies talking directly to the opener and a walk out because she said she was a lesbian (it was embarrassing and not representative of Minnesota's usual comedy crowd). Anyway, Tig came out and was completely amazing. She completely turned the crowd with her crowd work from a bunch of shitty assholes to everybody paying attention and loving her. Then during Tig's Baby in a Shower bit, I almost had to excuse myself from the theatre i was laughing so hard I felt like I was going to throw up. That show turned my friend into a big Tig fan. She's amazing and I'll always catch her when I can.
