    Ted

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish...and has refused to leave his side ever since.

    Red-band trailer:

Yes, this is a real movie, despite today's date.

Does this mean the beautiful fantasy of an adaptation of Theodore Sturgeon's "The Professor's Teddy Bear" is getting pushed back?

Let's hope Wahlberg and Kunis can recapture the same lightning in the bottle they did with Max Payne.

For the comedies for 2012 this at least looks decent. I'll check it out for sure

I thought they said Seth ROGAN was doing the bear's voice. I would like that better.

I have no interest in anything Seth McFarlane does, but I will watch anything with Mark Wahlberg. I'm not convinced he has any discernible sense of humor or any self-awareness at all, but despite this fact (or perhaps directly because of this fact) he's easily one of my favorite comic actors. I'm off to youtube to find a compilation of all his scenes from Huckabees.

This makes up for all the times we've ever disagreed about anything. You win this thread.

BUCKY THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT BEFORE EVEN WATCHING THE TRAILER. so it's like a rip-off of a rip-off before you even hit "go".

Also, lol at Mark Wahlberg playing a 35 year old.

I want to burn this movie to the ground.

Is Seth MacFarlane attempting to make up for a decade of not being able to say "fuck" on TV in one movie?

If they rip off My Mother, The Car, and make it into some bullshit movie ruining the integrity of Jerry Van Dyke, I'm going on a rampage!
