How did Tarvu survive in the oceans for 9 years?
When Tarvu landed in the oceans as a baby boy, he was rescued by an octopus, named Oobu. Oobu and his family cared for the baby Lord, taught him how to swim (Tarvu was excellent at backstroke) and fed him barnacles and squid ink. They also taught him how to speak Octish, the language of octopuses. Without Oobu, Tarvu may well have perished, although, since he was the Almighty, this may not have happened.

Uhhh...guys, are you serious? You do realize this is a joke, right? (Well, I assume YoungAmerican does, since he talked with Robert Popper about it in his interview on TSOYA).
"Praise Tarvu" is a show that Popper and Serafinowicz are working on for Adult Swim. (I believe Robert said that Tim and Eric are also involved, but I'm not sure about that part).
It's going to be a parody of religious service TV programs, only dealing with the nonsensical, made-up religion of Tarvuism.
That's why I asked if computer_jones is Serafinowicz, since a) his first post was the Serafinowicz video from Funny or Die, and b) his screenname is a Look Around You reference.
Doing a quick google search, it looks like there's been some posts about this on the Tim and Eric message boards too, so I guess they are involved.

I first opened this thread at work, where I can't watch the video. But the site is detailed enough to make it look pretty insane, and therefore I think I was perfectly right to assume it was totally serious.
Since it's not, I suspend judgement until I see more. But all other religions are still fucking retarded.
