This blew my brains out. Some serious Oak Ridge Dick Touch in this episode.
Dear God, this was fantastic.
I would like to join in the chorus of praise.
Just listened to all of season two in one sitting, and was greatly amused. Even with premises set up beforehand and some editing after the fact, it's really impressive that it's all improvised. Kudos to you, sirs!
Hiya guys,
This is Matt from Superego. Just wanted to say thanks for listening - it's much appreciated. From our mouths to your ears, bless your hearts.
Matt
No Matt, thank YOU. You guys are fantastic.
A real bunch of dick-stiffeners.
Hey, check me out. I'm a ghost.
Matt, whoever decided to characterize Mark Twain in the voice of a goofy middle aged Jewish man on the latest episode is my hero.
Also, kudos to Tom Scharpling for "Hi, I'm Spiro Agnew. Check out my box of hate!"
The Twain was all Paul. Hilarious. Scharpling's line was fantastic too. We meant to record them for our last episode of the season (July) but we got so much usable stuff that we put those 2 segments on the last one. You'll hear more of them in 2 months. Can't say enough about those guys.
The Wright Brothers joke. Oh my shit. I laughed so hard at that.
I'm just excited that my review of Superego got my iTunes user name "Latinhouseparty" mentioned. Though for all I know it was just a coincidence and they randomly came up with the same name that I actually use.
"Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."
I'm about to listen to the new episode for an unprecedented 3rd time. Viva Superego!
June 1st has landed with a brand new Superego, penultimate Season 2 episode!

Listening to the new one now, almost died laughing at Sam Elliot saying "Let's go get us some of that moon pussy"
I'm just gonna throw this out:
Superego may just be the Mr. Show of the Twenty-Teens.
I will be quoting it for the rest of my life.
"I live in a well. That's not what a clown does."
Hey there, this is Mark McConville from Superego.
Thanks for all the kind words on this forum. We're pretty proud of this season, and the response has been fantastic. Thanks!
If you're in LA, Matt and Jeremy will be joining PFT this Friday, June 18th at Dead Authors at UCB. 7pm show, $5. It will be a hoot.

I listened to episode 2-12 on the treadmill at the gym today for, oh, the third or fouth time, and The Golden Dusk Assisted Living Bingo Club still left me giggling helplessly, clutching the hand-rails, seeming totally insane to any passerby. I love you, Superego podcast. I am slowly rationing Season One episodes to myself to extend the pleasuuuuuuure.
"I live in a well. That's not what a clown does."
