The Superego Podcast - Live! at SFSketchfest, Jan 21

    Hey friends!

My name is Jeff Crocker; I'm a behind-the-scenes guy for a lot of comedy stuff you probably have seen (Comedians of Comedy, Zach Galifianakis Live, and I produced the animated sequences in Super High Me).

I also work on the Superego podcast (http://goSuperego.com), an absurdist audio podcast (with the occasional video thrown in for good measure) from Jeremy Carter and Matt Gourley.

It’s not serialized so you can start anywhere in the run, they are all equally ridiculous.

    itpc://www.gosuperego.com/podcast.xml

Special guests that have strolled through have been: Steve Agee (The Sarah Silverman Program), Jason Sudeikis (SNL), Joe Lo Truglio (The State), Drew Carey(The Drew Carey Show), Jeff Davis (Who’s Line), Chris Tallman (Reno911, Chocolate News), and Paul F. Tompkins (Mr. Show).

Thanks for looking, loving, and listening.

Update: 1/18/2012 -- We are performing live at San Franscisco Sketchfest! Saturday, January 21st, 1 PM at the Eureka Theater with special guests, Paul F. Tompkins and Erinn Hayes.

These guys are really fucking funny! The podcast is a collection of really random, funny recurring bits. A fun listen!

Episodes 6 and 7 are great, as well as, 15 and 16. Also, there is a greatest hits track you can listen to on the Superego Facebook page, if that's your thing. Go get 'em!

Thanks to everyone who has been listening and downloading the podcast. The LAist dispatched Farley Elliott to interview the boys of the Superego podcast and the article is quite flattering.

Click the link and have a look-see yourself! If you are swayed, go subscribe to the podcast on iTunes (or your preferred podcaster of choice), and get ready for a fresh episode on June 1st.

Caught, cleaned, and straight to market for you!

Episode 2:5 -- With special guests us. Just us. Can't we have some family time? Case studies: F.D.R., Leroy Jenkins, Principal Hoyt Runyun, Janice Caaf, Milton & Dupree, Kendra Kibbee, and Miles Packend.

Thanks to listeners near and far, and I'm sure more than a few ASTers, Superego cracked the iTunes comedy podcast chart at #51! Then promptly slipped off into a cold, dark, champagne induced slumber.

Also, I imagine it was largely due to being the Daily Dose on FlavorPill.com(http://flavorwire.com/31254/superego), as well as, this gentleman's shining review from the UK(http://newtraditionalist.co.uk/?p=361).

Thanks for listening and stay tuned for more news and research from the Superego Institute.

I really really like this show. It's totally original and weird and crazy funny- some of the character stuff is so quick and clever that it's hard to believe it's improvised. Glad to see you are getting some love around the net Jeff.
