"Snake N Bacon" pilot is up at adultswim.com

Snake 'N Bacon are puppets in live action sequences, featuring live-action appearances by Kristen Schaal, Dan Bakkedahl, Andy Blitz and David Rakoff; the animation boasts the voices of Bill Hader, Brian Stack, James Urbaniak, and Peter Serafinowicz.
Has anyone heard about this new [as] series? I think it's supposed to start sometime in 2009. They just put the pilot up on the Adult Swim website, it's split into six seperate videos.

Thanks so much, mueXog. This was as brilliant as you'd expect from something with both Kristen Schaal and Peter Serafinowicz (and the others). With The Drinky Crow Show on the horizon, Adult Swim's really picking up the ball on hilarious comics.

It was very enjoyable. I hope it gets picked up.

I'm stoked! Michael Kupperman is a national treasure. I've never laughed so hard at print. I just got Thrizzle #4 and it's killing me. Hopefully the magic will translate to animation... judging from those clips, so far so good.

The part with the toad is wonderful. It went from mundane to hilarious in about 4 seconds.

Adult Swim is airing the pilot tonight at 12:45 - not sure if it's all the same clips that were on the [as] website last September. Might have some new stuff in there too?

I didn't realize this back when this thread started, but the creator Michael Kupperman worked on a number of "TV Funhouse" cartoons with Smigel. You could usually tell the ones he was involved with, they always had a certain animation style, much like a lot of the shorts in the Snake N Bacon pilot. Like the Pablo Picasso one from the Comedy Central show or the "Big Boobed Einstein" one that was on SNL about a year or so ago.
