Hey, Jim Rome is out of town and I believe, if I heard the Jay Mohr one correctly, that the Sklars will be back on the 18th, that's Friday.

Anyone listen to this? I can't listen because I don't subscribe to Mr. Rome's radio program online archives, but am curious if anyone else heard it.
I listened to the show, and it was pretty darn super(I was able to listen to the show because I own a radio). They had a lot of fun with Ichiro's profanity laced motivation clubhouse speeches, in that they could never get the bleep sounds to line up right with their Ichiro impressions. Shit, I'm having trouble remembering a lot of the details, I wasn't mentally prepared to do a recap. Sorry for failing you. However, I will say the 3 hours whizzed by, and it made me think that the Sklars could, nay, should do a regular radio show, no problem.
i listened to it.
Jason Nash calls in as Art Farber, a character from Boston mocking the Boston sports fan. As a GWF fan, it's my favorite part of the show. It's a regular bit when the Sklars host.
I really like the Sklars going off for this long on topics that we'll probably never hear them going off on again...ie what happened yesterday in the sports world. They're really great off the cuff.
The jim rome show has a daily podcast that's about $6.95 a month. If you're a big sports fan it's totally worth it. From the comedy side, the sklars and Jay Mohr sometimes guest host when Jim is out of town, but that's not very often. If you like sports and comedy like I do, then it's one of the best shows on radio. But not THE best show, that's The Best Show on WFMU, but that's a whole other topic.
