Haha...Scott evidently doesn't recognize what "Steve Kindof" is, he sounded kind of confused when he read out the catchphrase submission.
I loved the opening with Kroll and Mulaney but when they went into character I felt like the show slipped for a while and struggled to gain traction. Then they kicked into that Bachelorette bit and had me laughing so hard my ribs broke in twain.
Crazytalk! This one was amazing beginning to end and is fighting it out with Fourvel for my favorite episode of 2012!!
Fourvel fourever!!!!
I did recently relisten to Fourvel's episode, and it really is a masterpiece. Easily one of the five best CBBs ever.
I think the first few minutes of Gil and George not quite sparking and Lizzy being good but no Gillian Jacobs held this one back from being a classic for me but the parts that were funny were some of the best CBB has to offer(man). The only other ep this year that's made me laugh as hard was the Martin Starr one.
The Fourvel ep, meanwhile, transcends not just podcasting but space and time and hilariousness itself.
You think the name "Dressed to the Borg-Nines" was also a play on Star Trek character Seven of Nine (a Borg)?
She sure knew how to dress, that 7o'9!
I bought two tickets to the Boston show, and then managed to forget about the show entirely. I wasn't even doing something important that day. Just...forgot. I need to get off the drugs.
I'm glad I can buy the entire tour, though. It doesn't sound like the episodes should be too similar to eachother, but maybe they are. Oh well; still going for it.
Formerly an enigmatic Irish woman. Don't ask.
Was I the only one wishing that Sir Richard Branson would be revealed as the one who hit ALW on the head?
"She walked out of the room using that pretty ass I mentioned earlier to propel herself forward. I felt like my dick had been kicked up into my mouth, making me throw up from having a dick in my mouth"
I've probably listened to about a dozen Comedy Bang Bang episodes over the years, but I've been trying recently to find one that sounds amazing but I haven't had any luck. Somebody described it on another board as "The Comedy Death Ray episode with James Adomian and PFT travelling through time and space, coming out of each other's bodies as The California Gold Guy and Cakeboss is one of the funniest and most mesmerizing thing I've heard done on a podcast." I've searched, and can't seem to find an episode with both Huell Howser and Cake Boss. Is he maybe misremembering one of the characters? Anybody got any idea which episode this might be?
things are iffy.
That's Episode 103, the 2nd Anniversary show.
It's not Cake Boss, it's Paul F. Tompkins as himself. It is mesmerizing and amazing, though.
Speed round!
I love that Amy agrees with Occams Razor and then in the last question, gives the most opposite example of Occams Razor as her answer. Scott nailed her!
I host a comedy podcast about parenting.

Amy is such an amazing guest.
At first it felt like Amy wasn't willing to play along with Adomians character, but once she got into it (him) it became hilarious instantly.
"She walked out of the room using that pretty ass I mentioned earlier to propel herself forward. I felt like my dick had been kicked up into my mouth, making me throw up from having a dick in my mouth"
That was a great episode. Mantzoukas is one of the all-timers and Amy Poehler seems to genuinely enjoy dicking around on the show. Plus, it was great to hear the Tom Leykis character again after an hysterical appearance on The Todd Glass Show. Pure, hilarious nonsense.
you guys embedding a tweet is hard, but i've done it before.
THIS OZZIE GUILLEN TWEET MADE ME LAUGH HEARTILY
HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS...
The Speed Round bit at 22:30 in this weeks ep confirms all 3 of these folks are comedy aces, and cements Poehler's position as "The Best"...
Love!
