"You've come a short way baby"
This episode is one of the best of 2011. The banter between Paul McCartney and John Lennon "the creepiest man in the world" made my day. And Erin Hayes is awesome.
Erinn! She even talks about having 2 n's in her name! But yeah she was great, she's happy to play the low status figure that Scott picks on for some reason.
It was one of those episode where you kind of give up on remembering the funniest quotes from the episode because there's too many of them.
That Christmas Carol bit came abut so naturally but went so smoothly that I have a hard time figuring out how written it was. If it was all on the spot, then Dan and Erinn are amazing sports. Really, the whole show, they played along so beautifully. I cringe every time a performer gives a "what the fuck is this" kind of comment, and neither of them ever let on if they didn't know one of CBB's weird rules. A really great episode.
Through much of the episode, it seemed like they were going in a direction where they might work themselves into a corner and get stuck, like the carol and the story of the first Christmas, but they just kept going. Some really good "Yes And" work in this episode.
Dan knocked it out of the park, great work in the 'would you rather' segment especially!
This episode was fantastic. PFT was fantastic as usual, Dan and Erinn were awesome the way they just rolled with the show, and Scottabot was on fire this episode.
I feel that Scott doesn't get enough praise for the way he makes people around him even funnier.
"She walked out of the room using that pretty ass I mentioned earlier to propel herself forward. I felt like my dick had been kicked up into my mouth, making me throw up from having a dick in my mouth"

Thanks guys! I need a family-supporting job in LA before I can move, which basically never happens. Trying to get a writer gig. Fingers crossed.
Being on this podcast is about as awesome as you can get anyway.
Everything about this was so wonderful and perfect. All my favorites.
If anything ever happens with that CBB TV pilot (seems unlikely at this point?) I think a TV version of the podcast should feature Harris as permanent co-host/sidekick. Him with Scott will find every hilarious avenue there is.
I also loved the whole arc of the relationship between Dame Sir ALW and Harris.
Thank you Hot Cocoaman and everyone at CBB for making this episode feel like I personally chose almost every guest, bit and character on it. Amazing way to end the year.
From now on, any time I want to praise anything I'm going to say "It's totally boss, man" in a Kelsey Grammar voice.
Can't we nominate this episode for best of the year?
This is a pet theory I have had for a while and I am now sharing it with you:
I like that Paul F is so good at characters that he makes them improvise poorly. What I mean by that is that I've been taken aback at some of the "no, butting" that Sir Dame pulled on the holiday CBB, and I have noticed it in some of his character work previously. I'll be listening and hear him throw a wrench in the gears but as far as I can tell it's actually an aspect of the character he is playing cause when he goes back to classic Paul he is all about the "yes, and" game again. That is a talent!
Comedy neeeerrrdsss I come to celebrate you not bury you et tu!
