So what did the return of Stefon mean on the Mulaney front? Anything? Did he return? Did they do it without him? Anyone know anything?
There were no end credits this week, but Mulaney said on Never Not Funny that he would be returning off and on during the season to contribute material. In fact, I think he was credited on the Daniel Craig episode (Nothing really jumps out at me from that episode that seems like his style of humor, except maybe the British sitcom thing- 'A Sorry Lot We Are'. That was a little more premise-y than most of the stuff in that episode).
During one of the cut-ins where they were setting up for the daytime talk show sketch you could see Mulaney. I'm like 95% sure it was him.
Oh man, really? I kind of hope he didn't write that.
The one part where Tim Robinson's doctor character came out and the audience was booing him and he said "Your boos are without merit, you know nothing of me and my work" was sort of funny, but the rest of that sketch was like a bad "In Living Color" ripoff.
I hated it! I demand equal time! Bruno Mars is a racist and I hope he gets banned.

I wonder how the Frankenstorm is going to affect this week's show. Today is traditionally when they get together and meet with the host for the first time, and I can't really see that happening when most TV production has been shut down in New York. I guess if everything clears up by the middle of the week they could still put a show together in 3 or 4 days, but it would be cutting it pretty close. I hope they manage to do it, of course it would have to be the week that Louis is hosting that this happens.
Something tells me it's going to be "Saturday Night Re-run" this week.

Jimmy Fallon is apparently planning to go ahead with recording a show tonight without audience members. Seth Meyers is scheduled as a guest so I'm sure they will talk about SNL.
Just let him do two stand-up segments, like Carlin in '75.
Nov. 10th- Anne Hathaway/Rihanna
Nov. 17th- Jeremy Renner/Maroon 5

Louie was great on Fallon last night. Now I'm really curious to see what that sketch he's dreading (but doesn't want them to cut) is.

The iPhone plant workers VS white guilt ASTers talk show sketch.
Bitchin' monologue.
Lincoln was great, obviously.
What would you say was the premise of that Australian film sketch? Australians talk weird? That's even worse than "Californians talk weird."
What about the ram's horn one? Horns are loud?
The Hotel one was ok.
Last call was pretty good.
I think that's all the sketches.
