Brian wrote last night's episode.
hi, i'm steve
Doo doo da doo doo
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
I just watched the last 4 episodes because I missed them (I know I'm a jerk) and good god this show is the best comedy on tv right now. Why doesn't the planet understand this?
I went out and bought skittles because of this episode.
I got M&Ms too, because I wasn't 100% sure.
Sarah Silverman Program is the best show on television. It utilizes creative geniuses in the best possible way, and takes chances that no other comedy show, especially on a basic cable channel, would possibly take. This past season has been absolutely fantastic, and while it seems impossible for it to be topped, I trust the cast and crew would do great things with a 4th season.
That said, I LOVE Scud. I LOVE Robot Bastard. I LOVE Sarah Silverman Program, and I feel like it's potential cancellation could mean Rob and Dan and their co-workers could bring their talent to a new medium.
Clearly, I want the people I love to have jobs, and I want to be able to see the people I love on a weekly basis. But the potential news of cancellation will elicit some hopeful feelings from me.

Brian Posehn has now ascended to the rank of Grand Comedy Poobah by virtue of having written this episode.
Best. Ending. Ever.
One thing I liked was in the scene where Doug witnesses Abraham Lincoln being assassinated; the line being said in the play right before Lincoln gets shot is the real line that occurred right before Lincoln was actually shot ("You sock-dologizing old man-trap"). That was supposedly a really funny line in the play, and Booth deliberately chose then to shoot Lincoln because he hoped the audience laughter would muffle the shot.
So either Brian Posehn knows a lot about American history, or somebody did some Wikipedia research before putting this into the show...
So that's why I laughed.
I was just listening to CDR Radio and heard Steve Agee singing "I'm Glad You Hurt Your Hand." Can someone tell me what episode that's from?
Sadly(?) I don't get Comedy Central anymore, but I am able to watch the latest SSP episodes via On Demand. I've thoroughly enjoyed this season and I really just love this show.
If this does turn out to be the final season, I just want to say thanks to Steve and everyone involved in the show's production for kicking ass so hard!
Sadness. Comedy Central officially pulled the plug.
Goodbye 'Sarah Silverman Program'. Thanks for three seasons of insanity and laughs with a great crew of funny people.
