There was a thread on the old board about this, but if you're unaware, Comic Relief is sponsoring a national hurricane-charity tour featuring Tony Clifton and his Katrina Kiss My Ass Orchestra (it's assumed to be Bob Zmuda but it's obviously shrouded in secrecy). I had the chance to see it last night in Asheville, and it was the damndest show I've ever seen. All my doubts about whether or not it was "okay" to do such a thing were quickly melted away by the spectacle and the surreality of being there. The band was so good that it eventually transcended irony and just became three and a half hours of legitimately awesome Vegas entertainment that just happened to be really offensive and hilarious. I recommend the shit out of it, and if that's not enough, then keep in mind that there are lots and lots of girls in underwear.
