We're All Friends Here is a comedy chat show with boundary issues hosted by Matt Ruby and Mark Normand. The live show, which began in May '08, occurs once a month at The Creek in NYC. Each show is also recorded and the highlights are published as a podcast too.

The format: Matt and Mark host four NYC comics who do a quick set and then sit down to talk about taboo issues (sex, drugs, religion, race, etc.) Things can get a bit hairy but it's a safe place — we're all friends here.

The latest episode of the We're All Friends Here podcast is now live. It's the one-year anniversary show featuring return visits from Sean Patton, Hannibal Buress, and Dan Goodman. It was an awesome show...get ready for some dirt!

Also, the iTunes feed for the podcast is now up to date with this episode and the one before it too. (For some reason, the last episode wasn't showing up there until now.)

Listen to the most recent edition of the We're All Friends Here podcast with Ted Alexandro, J-L Cauvin, and R.G. Daniels. We talked about suicide "attempts," a couple of abortions, and a priest-related masturbation episode. Good times.

Re: Podcast: "We're All Friends Here" (inappropriate Q&A with NYC comedians)

I REALLY REALLY like what I've heard so far of this podcast. I haven't listened to these in order, but rather skipped around and listened to the segments with comedians I know and enjoy. David Cope's interview is one of my favorites so far - and everything involving Sean Patton is gold.

Jared Logan and Sean O'Connor (who got pretty deep!!!!) were also great guests. I've still got a lot of catching up to do, but just wanted to say I love what I've heard so far.
    Great show....

Even with the racist hat stuff. (About that: I'd seen a lot of Mark Normand's stand up clips online before I even knew We're All Friends Here existed and I was and am a fan. He's super hilarious. I can't even hear anyone say "I don't fuck around" without cracking up. He remains hilarious .... though he may be casually/ironically racist.)

I think I'll listen to Andy Haynes and Brent Sullivan next.
