I hope they make a sequel to Big Fan, and we get to see Patton's character when he was a little kid!!

Hey, check me out. I'm a ghost.
I swear to god, comedians sometimes make the best dramatic characters in movies.
Trailer looks amazing.
Sometimes with enough qualifiers almost anything sounds kind of true. Not that Patton doesn't look like he's gonna be awesome in this movie. Hail Satan.
Big Fan looks amazing. Can't wait 'til it plays around these parts.
Also posted in the Top Chef thread, which is also only slightly related;
Patton Oswalt was a guest judge on Iron Chef America last night.
He had some excellent critiques, and really seemed to like giving the business to the food editor from InStyle magazine.
I just wish Jeffrey Steingarten had been one of the other judges, because I think Patton could do a dead on, b-word fat, impression of him.

Preview for My Weakness Is Strong:
Patton Oswalt - My Weakness Is Strong - Comedy Central Special
You don't have to use the self check out if you don't want to.
Sorry, I'm sure he went somewhere funny with it. That was the *chips crunching*iest promo video I've ever seen.
I KNOW! His comedy doesn't even make any sense! I mean, it's not a bowl of sadness, there's CHICKEN in there!!! (And corn!) Why does he call it a "Sadness Bowl"?
many tine tanies
That's a huge theater! Looks swanky. Anyone know where that is?
(Regarding self-checkout, I was in IKEA at the regular checkout when an older lady to my right was in the self. She complained the whole time, and when the IKEA salesgirl tried to help her the older lady bleated "I don't know how to DO this! This isn't my JOB!")
just watched the Big Fan trailer.
holy shit.
I saw an old guy scan a box of muffins eight times because he thought it wasn't registering, but it charged him for every swipe and he didn't realize. I tried to explain to him what was happening, to help out, and he just yelled at me and walked out and left his change in the machine.
ASR, i saw that same thing happen several times when i worked at at grocery store, but the worst incident culminated in a woman literally throwing a bag of bagels at me before storming out.
My humblest opinion:
EVERYBODY NEEDS TO STOP TALKING ABOUT THE SELF CHECKOUT.
Tuohy, I was also at the taping. Does anyone know if they used the earlier or later show?
