Jon Glaser MVP (no surprise there)
I know that's old, but it just dawned on me that that had to be a Harris Wittels thing. It reminds me of the Laura Prepon Grey Poupon Crouton Groupon.
My sister's boyfriend interviewed Harris a few weeks ago; Harris said low cal calzone zone was a group effort, not his idea.
NBC's Thursday night schedule has become a wasteland lately. "30 Rock" is still funny but it's on its last legs. "The Office" should have ended 2 seasons ago. "Up All Night" is really dull this season and getting separated from Amy seems to have sucked all the funny (and weight) out of Will. So it's nice to see that "Parks & Recreation" is still capable of turning out the funny episodes and is just as good as it's ever been. Last night's episode was great. Everything worked, from Tom's Twitter addiction (""Just hit a fire hydrant, but I survived. #Unbreakable #WhatsMrGlassuptothesedays #whynosequel") to the Ben/April/robot congressman plot to the senior citizens abstinence seminar to the Michelle and Marcus Bachmann-esque couple. Perd Hapley continues to be hilarious as well. (""Tell that to Pier 1. An establishment I’m no longer allowed inside.")
It will be interesting next season when (most likely) P&R is going to be the last vestige of NBC's traditional Thursday night block of comedies. I guess in the next development cycle there is going to be a turn away from the single-camera pseudo-documentaries and a return to more traditional sitcom premises like "Go On" and the new Michael J. Fox show. I guess there is going to be "The Farm", but I can't really see that doing well.
I don't think I'd go as far as "wasteland" (because I still enjoy The Office and love P&R), but I did notice that my evening got a lot funnier when it entered the "Sunny, League, Childrens Hospital, NTSF" portion.

Aziz reacting to Jerry's fartattack almost had me gasping for air. So silly, so perfect.
Amy Poehler looked fucking fine as hell as the Blue Jumpsuit Bicep Lady. That's her name, right?
Did anyone notice Kulap playing the girlfriend of Mike from Breaking Bad (as Ben's dad) in next weeks preview? Awesome!
People watch the previews?
Holy shit, my favorite show just made me tear up a little.
I want Ben to propose to me too, so my life can be perfect.

Got busy last week, so I just watched the Halloween episode at work. And now I'm crying a little bit at work. Thanks a lot, Parks & Rec (sarcastic voice). Also, thanks a lot Parks & Rec (sincere voice - that was an amazing final scene).
