I watched the last four episodes of season 4 on the train today. Parks is one of my favorite shows, but I tend to stack episodes especially toward the end of a season. Well, it was quite an experience to sit through. I can't think of another sitcom that does the serialized storytelling thing so well. The election was genuinely gripping, not just funny (although there was a shit ton of that of course). Although I fully expected a few touching moments as well, I'm happy they were delivered. I would love to see Amy Poehler in a drama someday.
That being said... now is time for the yearly Parks & Rec withdrawal. It's a difficult time, but knowing the show was renewed makes it much easier.
But seriously, what TV show am I supposed to watch now in order to feel warm and fuzzy inside?

Funny stand-up comedy guy Joe Mande (previously wrote on season 3 of Delocated) will be writing on the new season!
Unforntunatley, Chelsea Peretti has recently mentioned on twitter that she won't be returning. I think she's been writng some stuff for The Nick Show Kroll (which I think was recently retitled as "Kroll Show") coming soon on Comedy Central, which Mande has also been writing on.
OMG Jon Glaser will be a regular in the new season!?!?! Im fucking pumped for season five!
Talk about things that make you go "frrt"!
I've been given 20 of the KNOPE 2012 stickers that come with the season 4 DVD set. Not sure what to do with them. The Greg Barris route wouldn't really work in this situation. I put one on my shirt today. Any suggestions?

A Real Human Being, and a Real Hero
Take a long walk and put them anywhere that seems fun and then post pictures here.
I'm still upset that they had Ron Swanson cry over his ex-wife.... I'm not sure that the writers took into consideration how such a decision would affect (or effect, who fucking knows anymore) people.
9:30 PM, please get here soon!

Guys I just got a call from 9:30 PM, he says he's stuck in Rio de Janeiro right now but he should make it in time.
I wish one of the Parks & Rec writers would punch up my time zone joke.
Pratt's (and) Reaction to "amalgam" cracked me up.
Very good eppy!

I liked that they made reference to Amy Poehler's resemblance to Beverly D'Angelo.
I think Ron speeding off with the barbecue still attached to his car was probably the highlight for me.
El Chupacabra shout out this week.
Really? I find that disturbing, because Nick Kroll is already a DJ in Pawnee.
