I hate the whole idea of grading episodes a la AV Club but for whatever reason I enjoyed this week's P & R more than Community (again, not that it wasn't great itself)- and maybe it has to do with my bizarre personal interest in the "Birfers". Something like Andy's tossing the briefcase being executed so perfectly character-wise...I really wanted to root for Free Agents but it really was missing a lot of the precise writing that P&R and Community have in creating little bits with perfect lines to match each character...As an aside, I always wonder why comedians like Pepitone don't show up in more roles - even a big a role as the Todd one this time. I guess casting directors have their own thang going on...

I love this show but the episode fell a little bit flat for me. For one, I didn't think your birthplace is something you can ever hang your reputation on because no one knows for sure. It's not like your shoe size or real hair color. So to me it was kind of obvious that it was going to turn out she wasn't born in Pawnee. I mean, my mother could have thought he was born in Bayport, Minnesota, but because her mother went into labor on an airplane, she was born in Albuquerque, NM. What can you do.
Another thing was how Ben and Tom went into that lady's bedroom. Even though they were doing the honorable thing, it was kind of off-putting, and I didn't exactly follow the sequence of events, it seemed like something weird was going to happen, but then it didn't. Eh, I still liked it, and the "calling people the wrong name" thing was so great it makes up for anything.
I did think Ann was acting a little stupid now that I think about it. I don't care who you are, she was being annoying. She needs something a little more important to do to justify her existence in the cast - even if she functions as a straight man, her status is too low to really have impact on anyone's behavoir except Leslie's, as her close friend.
Sorry to be a negative norman. I will say this - obviously Leslie's mom leaked the birthplace thing, right? That's got to come up. Does that count as positive? It proves I paid attention to the whole thing. Shut up. Sorry, Harris Wittels.

yeah, Ann's a lame character and Rashida Jones isn't funny. Aubrey Plaza is hot enough for guys to not need her around.

Shit, late. But I included him putting his glasses on in this one:

You guys did it. My murder spree is postponed another day.
I've watched that jump for about several minutes now. Did his foot really clip the iMac, or did they have someone pulling it down from under the desk? Regardless, every episode should feature at least one Pratt fall.
Was that the best episode of this season yet? Yes it was!!!
Adam Scott had me in stitches. Also did Brother Nature, Treat Yo Self, Needles-face/Pleasure-base and everything else.
I hate people who don't watch this show. I mean honest, to-the-core hatred.
Eyes are the losers in the skies.
Adam Scott gets the MVP for this episode for me. He was great both in and out of the costume.
Adam Scott as emo batman...when does the greatness of this show end? never, I hope.
I'd like a GIF of the whole episode, please. With sound.

Yeah, I'm going on an all-female "spa weekend" in two weeks. I might need to make the rest of the crew watch this episode so they will understand why I keep screaming "TREAT YO SELF!"
