You're the best Fred.
So there was this Coca-Cola commercial during the Olympic opening ceremonies...the music in it was the opening to a song by TV On The Radio, the best band in the world. The music builds...and then out walks...Jay Z. I seem to be the only person on the internet who noticed this (or the only one who gives a shit) and I can't find the ad on Youtube. It was weird I guess is my point I dunno shut up
TV innit
I noticed the Coke Ad. It was good. shut up.

A week or two ago on "Hell's Kitchen", Chelsea Peretti was one of the diners. They did one cut to her and she never appeared again. I reckon they didn't know she's awesome n stuff.

Sorry, forgot to add that it was from Comic Con - their panels were back to back:

Does anyone remember Michael Blieden's podcast The Cold Bath? It is one of the most fascinating things I've ever listened to, but the podcast feed appears to be broken.
Does anyone know how I might be able to get a hold of these episodes?
"He's got a dick, why won't he talk about it?"

Unfortunately, I don't know where to find them, either... but didn't Blieden stop making them because of his job on Fallon? Now that's over, he should consider starting the show back up.
I was obsessed with the Cold Bath when he was making it. Mr. A is forever embedded in my outlook on politics.
I know I used to listen to it but I can't remember anything about it. What was the format? I think I remember he was making it around the time that they were doing that Zach & AD meth makers show? (Which still bums me out that CC didn't pick it up).

Would Jesse Thorn have it by any chance? I once asked for an episode of The Best Show that I was on (thank you very much) and he had it saved.

VH1 is bringing back "Best Week Ever"
It looks like it'll be going back to the pre-PFT talking heads format though. Wondering if all the old regulars like Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, Doug Benson, Nick Kroll, etc will be back? Probably not too likely now that they're all super busy.
I never liked "The Sizzler", but I ate up "Best Week Ever" every single week. Other than me and my lady, everyone else I know hates that show. Even though I don't have cable, I could not be more excited for its return. But yeah, I bet almost none of those people return. Hopefully they just use the same tactics to round up talented up and comers and people that should be more popular than they currently are.
The top comment killed me:
"The guy in the car lost his mother to a tragic turkey mobbing accident. Every year, he tries to release his anger to the local turkey population, but he gets too emotional to continue after just a few seconds."
Did anyone notice that Jeff Ross stole Seth Green's joke about Carrie Fisher being chained to Roseanne in "Return of the Jedi" during the roast? I'm going to assume that the order the roasters appeared on the show was the same as the way it was when it was actually filmed and they didn't juggle the order around. It was weird that no one seemed to call him on using a joke that had already been used (and Seth actually phrased it a little bit better I think).
Sometimes there will be a joke in these roasts that strikes you as overly written but still clever. Katey Sagal's joke about Jane Lynch- "You wrote a letter to your parents where you came out of the closet....maybe the most unnecessary letter since the "P" in "pneumonia"" was one of these types of jokes. Obviously not written by Sagal and given to her by some roast writer but still a very good joke.
Speaking of which that new The Burn with Jeff Ross thing starts tonight on Comedy Central. Looks like another one of those Tough Crowd-ish shows Comedy Central keeps trying out but are never nearly as good as Tough Crowd was. I'll still check it out because Ross makes me laugh on the Comedy Central Roasts, plus JB Smoove is one of the guests tonight.
This is pretty much the most amazing thing ever:
I can't even imagine the work that must have gone into this.
Edit: This one's almost as good, but since it's a slower song you can appreciate even more how well-chosen the clips are for each word:
This is the same guy who cut together the video of Don Draper saying "What?" in various ways, he must be some genius at editing.
