All I can say about Conan's Christmas decorations is: YES!
Doesn't Jimmy Vivino have a sitar? During the unavailing, he was playing the sitar sound on a synth. I would think he'd have one for The Fab Faux. Maybe that's someone else's responsibility, there. But he should AT LEAST have an electric sitar. Those are cool. [Nobody cares.]
ANYWAY, the decorations are nice.
Dude. You're nitpicking the sitar synth? It's probably way easier for the GUITARIST leading the band to just step on a pedal and enable a synth sitar ON HIS GUITAR than switch to an electric sitar, etc. He probably uses it for the Fab Faux too...because maybe he doesn't know how to play a sitar? I don't know, I was too busy laughing to worry about the authenticity of the sitar tones.

There have been more Spiderman Musical injuries...
Thoroughly enjoyed Pierre Bernard's erotic comic renderings and the crazy x-mas lights guy (forgot his name). This is what I always enjoyed about Conan. He follows through a premise to its ridiculous extreme. He, Andy, and the writers just commit to an idea so funny or not, it is successful television.
An electric sitar is really a different instrument than a real sitar. It can be tuned and (basically) played like a regular six-string guitar. I own one, and I love it. The synth sounds more authentic, though. But none of this really matters on a comedy forum. Sorry.
Okay...that Christmas Decorations bit was maybe the funniest/best/most amazing thing I've sene on TV...possibly ever. It heightened and heightened and heightened...and I just about pissed myself when the Giant Chicken Sandwich rose from out behind Conan's desk.
Such a fucking brilliant bit.

Uhh why are they repeating last night's episode in Canada?
I always watch the CTV feed at midnight (because it's in HD), but I just tuned into the Comedy Network and saw the end of last night's show.
Hopefully the CTV feed will be the proper one. Maybe the network didn't receive the latest episode from TBS in time to air it? I know that's happened with "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" before.
For the record, the correct episode is airing on CTV.
"the warm-up guy enjoyed that."
haha - no, that's the "Opening Comedian."
may i just share this bit, for those who haven't heard..

"we found ourselves under a spotlight and decided what was real and what was not. let's break up all the pieces, build again from scratch." Why? (from Greenthink)
Why does Coco keep calling it a giant chicken sandwich? It's a cheeseburger. Clearly.
