I've been listening to a lot of old NNF lately. I started just because I wanted to hear more Benson (not the butler.) I have to say, I didn't use to be the world's biggest Jimmy Pardo fan; I've always thought he was above average-ish. That said, the show is excellent and so is he. Matt Belknap is an underrated hero of the show, to me. He's the glue, and by that I don't mean he's made of hooves and sniffed by troubled pre-teens.

Glad to hear season 7 is out and about.

I can't find either the survey link on Pardcast OR the Jimmy Pardo quiz on Facebook. Considering I might not be the only one, can someone help me out with a link.

I would pay upwards of 100 dollars for Jimmy to do a one-man show as the Southern Gentleman(TM).

On the Pardcast page you need to be on the true home page not the blog page. Try clicking on the logo. There will be the Season 7 logo and the survey link to the right.

I don't see the quiz either.

This was a smoooooth and funny episode. Welcome to the fold Al Madrigal! Matt had some great lines, and Jimmy was Jimmy as always. How does he do it?

Also, not that I need to speak for anyone, but don't worry about our friend Ken, spoken about at the end. (Hi Ken!) He is my biggest supporter and punisher. He can dish it out as well as take it. He'll just be happy to be talked about!

These are just being added as we speak, so please be patient as the donkeys get everything straightened out over there. Everything should be set by tomorrow -- if not sooner.

    1. Dr. Buss asked me why I was in town and I told him. I name-dropped Mr. Belknap mostly so I could post to AST about doing so. As I said in the other thread, I was far less awkward talking to him than I was to Jimmy or Matt (or Al).

    2. I’m tactless enough that if I were actually falling asleep in Mr. Madrigal’s set, I would’ve told him.

    3. The lights were bothering me during that show. They seemed fine before the show started, but after being blinded by the brilliance of Mr. Pardo, I had trouble dealing with actual light on the stage. I had problems earlier that afternoon sitting further back, due to the light coming in from the doors leading outside on either side of the stage. I thought the front row might be better since that’s the only location where those doors would have been out of my line of sight. I did apologize to Mr. Madrigal, saying that I shouldn’t have sat in the front row, since I apparently distracted him shielding my eyes.

It honestly upsets me that I adversely affected his set.

    4. The Vicodin i took before the show didn't help with the eye strain.

    5. Perhaps I could’ve gone with this look during the show:

    6. As for the sticker, I said, “no thank you” because what the hell am I going to do with an Al Madrigal sticker?

He said he only had a limited quantity so I wanted to let a person who might use it, have it. Granted, I didn’t say the last part of that because I was in a hurry to go lie down with a sleep mask on to rest my eyes before the next event.

    7. In conclusion, yes, I am a fucking asshole. Also, even though it enabled nice photo opportunities and a lovely scar, i don’t recommend getting brain surgery unless you absolutely need it:

Right, aside from light sensitivity, it can apparently make you overly defensive when being called out on a podcast.

On the plus side, i'm still alive.

Next time PFT is on I humbly request to see Cajun Southern Judge vs. Southern Dandy who saw an alligator covered in duckweed.
