Yeah, you know our schedules have just not allowed for any live dates the last few months. But LA Podfest is this weekend, so look for that in the feed soon after!

The episodes have been extra long lately, so I've been shutting them off 15 minutes early. Then after 4 episodes I listen to the last 15 minutes of each so I get an hour long bonus episode once a month. Sure, it's a lot of math, but SO worth it!

    a) Episode 505 really isn't that bad/awkward for the majority of the episode.

    b) If the gag of the SNL skit "The Californians" is lost on anyone, listen to 55:05-55:25 (video) of said episode.

Here's something that doesn't matter: does anyone know who the youngest NNF guest is? I'm thinking either Jordan Morris or Tommy Johnagin, but I'm not sure. Also, I don't know whether to count the person's age when they were a guest or compare everyone's age today. Mostly because this doesn't matter at all so either choice of methodology is equally inconsequential.

Alex Karras died. Last mentioned on The Three Hundredth (at least according to NeverNotNotes.)

Baby Oliver can be heard in the background of a Season 2 ep with Danielle -- no one gonna beat that.

At least 20 seconds of EVERY episode has mention of where the traffic was and how long it takes to get from here to there. You'd have to be a very distracted listener of LA-based podcasts to not get what that sketch is about. That and dumb voices.

I hope Darryl or The Beast keeps an accurate "moron" count for the ep.

This was such gold. Lewis was definitely on fire from the moment he comes in the door...At first I thought the mark on Pardo's face was from the coke bottle Lewis threw at him...

Are there any other "dream guests"? Any guesses? Norm Mcdonald?

Show notes for Episode #1117 are right here. Great job by Garon, and I made myself chuckle with my pictures of Ben Laden and Taxi Driver Jimmy.

Yeah this was definitely one of the great NNF episodes. I also felt like Richard Lewis was way more in his element joking around with Jimmy than he was on WTF or in any other interviews I've seen with him. So fun.

Agreed, I think he started out in one mindset (lots of one liners and comebacks being thrown at breakneck speed) and slowly got more and more comfortable with the "vibe". Ultimately making it a fantastic podcast, one for the books!

You really can't compare this interview with the one he did with Maron. Two totally differnt things. I dug them both.
