This movie was funnier than I thought it would be. In fact I think I enjoyed it more than This is the End, which started to drag a little bit near the end and was a little too impressed with itself and wasn't as clever as it thought it was. At least they kept things short with this movie and Rogen played a more grown-up character with a wife and a kid and is starting to mature in his acting a little bit. (No goofy "huh huh huh huh" laughing from him in this one). There are some clever cameos from
The Lonely Island guys and the Workaholics guys
near the beginning and Jason Mantzoukas has a hilarious role as the world's worst doctor. Nicholas Stoller is starting to become kind of a Judd Apatow-lite between The Five-Year Engagement and this. The movie is a good balance between the gross-out humor that Rogen is known for and a more mainstream style that a wider audience can enjoy.
