I'm currently broke, between jobs, and getting ready to move back in with folks so I can make some cash for my triumphant return to college, but I think I could stash some cash in time for a december due date. Also, I don't care about being in debt because I'm young and irresponsible.

I'll probably go to this, if I'm not too slow.

Also, Dr. Cocktail, one of the world's foremost cocktail historians, will be offering special cocktails and punches at the welcome reception and party, as well as a talk on "Ten Things You Didn't Know About Cocktails."

Plus some sketches and a creativity workshop from Kasper Hauser.

I'm going to try and wheedle some more slots out of the venue, so if you still want to buy a ticket, you can get on the waitlist by emailing your name, email and number to waitlist@maxfuncon.com.

I haven't finished doing the room assignments and running the numbers, but a number of couples have offered to share rooms, and the venue's been really nice about letting us take all the empty spots we could, so it looks like I'll be opening some more tickets in the next couple of days.
