“We’ve built a bridge of friendship and carried our goats across. Lay them in the grass with me, Jeff! One’s named Petey and one’s named Sweetie!”—Pete Holmes to Jeff Garlin, Doug Loves Movies
That's the Huffington Post for you. You feel politically engaged for five seconds as you read the top of the site. Then you scroll down and are given articles that are just "what Jon Stewart said last night" and "what drugs this celebrity's daughter likes". It's the somewhat political/mostly gossipy person in your office turned into a website.
But alas, THREAD DRIFT.

I thought you wrote "what drugs this celebrity's daughter LOOKS like" and I don't think I'll ever be able to explain to anyone how funny I found that imaginary article to be.
I am one of the best writers of "phantom comedy" out there. I am currently penning, in invisible ink, a fake HuffPo article about how Rumer Willis' new hairstyle makes her look like a bag of Molly.

A most excellent episode. All those emotional turns back and forth that never feel forced.
Although now I really want Louie to have his own talk show.
Jeezus. These three episodes together. Man. I feel like Louie has ruined all other television for me.
Andy Kindler has a point when he says that it's weird when the media takes time out of their lives to say that any particular person is the next best thing ever, but he is dead wrong when he says this show isn't.

NO. NO. NO. YES. YES. NO. YES. YES. YES. YES. NO.
"I feel the same way about disco as I do about herpes." HST
That was utterly sublime. I didn't think the show could impress my any more, but the trilogy absolutely was another level. Third episode basically flawless television.
It took Louis CK for me to say this, but, can we please have more of David Lynch acting?!?! So. Awesome. And seeing him reminded me of this marvelous clip:
I love this show so much it makes me weep with joy. Emmys well deserved.
Iyou.
Can someone do the work of finding Louie's emmy speeches and posting them here?

This photo made me laugh pretty hard. Congrats, Louis.

Quick question for everyone who loves this show:
Are you like me and rank the seasons thus: 3, 2, 1. I mean in terms of just overall show quality? Coming off Season 2 I was blown away how it actually got tremendously better from a great starting point in Season 1. And then Season 3 just completely blew the first two seasons out of the water. The "Trilogy" as someone else put it, is hands-down the best comedic television I've ever seen. And easily in the top 5 of all genres. You knew he couldn't get the job, but he way they made that arc conclude was both very realistic, and just like the movie I think it was trying to pay homage to, very "Rocky."
Can't wait for season 4.

My ranking goes 2, 1, 3.
I like them all, though.
