Three big performances by stand-up comedian, actor and author Lewis Black, the man audiences love because his love/hate relationship with America is expressed in compelling insights about the absurdity of our world that would have made Will Rogers proud. A graduate of the Yale Drama School, he has four Comedy Central Specials, two HBO Specials, seven CDs, two NY Times bestsellers and over 40 plays to his name, plus an American Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-Up, an Emmy nomination, a Grammy nomination, and an actual Grammy Award. Oh yes, his weekly segment on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has been one of the show’s most popular segments since 1996. A frequent guest on the TV shows of Larry King, Conan O'Brien, David Letterman, and Keith Olbermann, he also presides over his own show, Lewis Black’s The Root of All Evil, for Comedy Central. A native of Washington, D.C. raised to question authority, Lewis’ live performances provide a cathartic release of anger and disillusionment for the audience. Lewis yells so that we don’t have to.
