Largo's Little Room

I went to the Dana Gould show Saturday night at the Little Room at Largo. I got there at about 8:40 for the 9:30 show, and then drove around looking for a parking spot. At about 9:15 I was still in my car -- and had decided to go ahead and pay $7 at a lot up the street -- when my friend texted me that she was leaving, as the show was $20.

She and I both had the idea that shows there were $10 in the Little Room. I think I read that in a thread on old AST (or AST Prime) when they posted about the move to the Coronet. Am I misremembering this? I thought that was also the reason there are no prices for the shows posted on the Little Room schedule.

Anyway, at the least, this post can serve as a warning to anyone thinking of going to a show at the Little Room; anyone who thinks they are not going to pay $20 to get in, that is.

According to J. Grode, the Monday night comedy shows are ten dollars. I don't know about any of the others.

I was looking at hitting Bamfords cd recording and then going over to the Largo to see Derek's magic show. But if its $20, I'll keep myself parked at the UCB

I'm not sure which shows are $20; but it seems the only way to find out how much a show is to call because they don't post it for the Little Room. Maybe Flanagan can sell his beach house to pay for someone to tweak the Web site and add that info.

Derek's show at the Little Room this Wed is $10. I'm doing it and don't know who else.

TomHicks, the Little Room varies in price. The Original Largo Comedy Show, held in the Little Room, costs ten dollars. If Dana tried to stick you for a dub, maybe it was a benefit against cancer.

Most shows do and will cost ten dollars.

That's what JGrode told ILIS when he expressed dismay about the prices on the previous board.

This wasn't a price complaint, by the way. It was a heads up to other people about the admission cost. I have spoken to one other person since Saturday who also thought it was $10 for all Little Room shows.
