Indeed. Maybe even best episode. You know it's a good one when the pre-improv discussions have just as many laughs.

definitely my favorite episode so far
Agree with everyone about this past episode, and as a whole this podcast has been on fire lately.
Loved the "after the show at Lauren's apartment" scene (ep. 44).
Best of improv4humans Vol. 1 is up today http://itun.es/i6DY59p
What should be in Vol. 2?
Man, I've been way behind on this show, and that episode with Mantzoukas and Parham + St. Clair was amazing! Definitely going to try to catch up.
The legendary SWARM including Sean Conroy, Andy Secunda, and Billy Merritt are on this week http://itun.es/i6Dk84C
Great new SerialOptimist.com interview with Matt Besser
Talks improv4humans, UCB, exciting new projects, and lots of other stuff. A possible Besser/Fulcher tv show? Oh my god, I need this to happen!
It's ladies night on improv4humans w/ Danielle Schneider, Jackie Clarke, Dannah Phirman - http://itun.es/i6DP9mZ
Yup, another classic.
This week had Tim Meadows, Joe Wengert, and John Gemberling http://www.earwolf.com/episode/too-soon/
I think it went well mainly due to Tim bringing us out of the gate fast and strong with some hard honesty.
Horatio Sanz, Ben Schwartz, Ian Roberts, Jon Daly, and I did a live show of improv4humans. Shit got crazy with the audience.
I'm not sure why we don't get more comments in this thread. This show is very consistent and often-times brilliant. This week's fire-eating improv was really great.

On new improv4humans Ian Roberts does Katt Williams impression! Alex Berg does CS Lewis! Jon Daly as Gollum! - http://itun.es/i6Dz2fb
Newest episode has Matt Walsh, Jon Gabrus, Lauren Lapkus - http://itun.es/i6JJ6zV
dearest Matt,
I found the call-in section in this recent episode a bit puzzling. While I disagreed with Dave, I also felt like his was the kind of comment that you would ignore because it is pretty much part of the "message board ecosystem", and that it perhaps did not deserve a section of the show dedicated to it.
The whole thing felt heavy handed to me and I was not enjoying it all that much.
But then near the end when you kind of admitted your main intent was to flip the turn of phrase "poor taste" back on the guy, and remind him of the importance of the comic voice. Then I felt like you had done enough to balance out the feeling I had that the segment was unnecessary. All was well.
But then you went too far and kind of undid your work.
A big part of your argument was "how many days is too soon?", that the number is subjective and that you guys were in the right for doing the bit. (side note, I loved that he kept calling them "skits". that added some laffs). But later you went on to undermine your argument by doing a "subjective number" thing against yourself, this time based around the audience numbers for I4H vs SNL.
"How many is too many?" is what he should have come back at you with. I4H is maybe not pulling in anywhere near the same audience as SNL, sure, but it is as or even more accessible to anyone than SNL is. By saying your small audience made it ok, and admitting that it would not have been ok on SNL you opened up a wee logical loophole that I hoped good-natured Dave would string you up with.
Also if he had just said it "tasted poor" to him as opposed to it was in "poor taste" i think a lot of this could have been avoided.
Those were the thoughts I had with regards to that section of the show! A show I really enjoy.
