This week on improv4humans we have Chad Carter, Kevin Dorff, Bob Dassie. You probably know Chad from Asssscat or the Facebook show at the UCB. He's the smartest improviser I know. Bob Dassie is an amazing improviser who I have known since my beginning improv classes in Chicago. Every now and then he does a show with his wife Stephanie Weir called Weirdass that can not be missed. Dorff is a true improv legend. He was part of the best Harold group of all time, Blue Velveeta, and the famous Chicago improv ensemble, Jazz Freddy.

I agree about those Asssscat podcasts - truly unfortunate sound quality that prevents those without much chance of seeing those shows from enjoying the greatness of the improv...In summation: I love everything about the Improve for HomoS(apiens) podcast...

The Asssscat podcasts are 100% listenable and enjoyable. The earlier ones were pretty bad but they got a lot better.

Yes, the early Asssscat podcasts had poor sound quality but I think the 2010 recording were pretty good. We may need to do a full reboot just to rid ourselves of the bad audio reputation.

This podcast has quickly become one of my absolute favorites, definitely the most big laughs per an episode. I knew an improv show with Besser at the head would be great, but the guests have been so high quality so far.

And agreed, the stuff about his dad has been really sweet and led into some hilarious scenes.

Some of the greatest improvisors I've heard of and a couple I've been introduced to (Curtis Gwinn and Danielle Schneider).
Also awesome music. Wish there was a playlist for the transitions.
