I just watched all 12 episodes in 3 days. Love this show. It got so good so fast. The guest cast is amaaaahzing (to quote Penny) and Casey and Adam are so good in it.

I'm kind of a geek about straight actors playing gay roles (I took 9 hours of Gender Studies courses and 3 hours of Queer Theory....and then dropped out of school, but whatever) and Adam genuinely blows me away. I've already rewatched the coming out episode a few times, it's so great. I don't have a single complaint about the way that role is written or performed. I even don't mind the edited out kiss, which in 99% of cases I would. I mean, the joke works better without the kiss.

Yay on this show. Can't wait until Season 2.

So glad this is coming back. I also hope they keep finding ways to bring back Penny's supergay fake husband, he was funny as hell in the finale.

So some of the cast and writers are doing a "Happy Endings LIVE!" show at UCB on September 17

The bad news, tickets have already sold out.

But good news, they will now stream the live feed on yowie!

It looks like on Friday, September 16th, the ABC Family Channel is running a marathon of sorts of all the "Happy Endings" episodes, with the added bonus that they are airing them in the correct order rather than the way ABC aired them. Unfortunately, they are only showing 12 of the 13 episodes, guess they didn't have access to the "unaired" episode. The DVD comes out September 20th.

Awesome, loves TheRiggle! Adam Pally mentioned Matt Besser and a lot of the UCB people who guested last season will be back as well. And I heard a while back that Larry Wilmore from The Daily Show is going to be playing Damon's boss.

I just watched that UCB show on yowie whcih was really funny even though some of it was hard to hear. Eliza Coupe as Temple Grandin was so wrong but hilarious. I hope they eventually put Casey's writers room video online somewhere, the parts I heard was funny, but some portions were hard to hear because of the not-so-great audio connection.

ABC has asked for six additional scripts for "Happy Endings"- although they haven't officially been picked up for the "back 9" yet.

"Suburgatory" was picked up for a full season though, so I'm fairly confident "Happy Endings" will get picked up.

Most of the shows I like have been doing well this season- "Up All Night", "Suburgatory", "The New Girl". Now if I could only figure out why "Whitney" is doing well.

This show continues to get the coolest guest stars, how great was Megan Mullally? She's killing it on every show it seems lately. I hope she comes back. Also never knew Casey was such a good singer! I was impressed.

Yeah I was a little worried when I saw Suburgatory and Revenge got a full season orders, but HE only got the 6 additional scripts, weird since HE's ratings have been just as good as those shows. Maybe they want to wait and see if the ratings are able to stay up.

ABC put the full Halloween episode (with guest star Matt Besser!) up on yahoo a day early, if you don't want to wait for it to air on tv tomorrow. If you haven't checked out the show before, this episode or last weeks (written by Community's Hilary Winston, who joined the show this season) are great first episodes to check out. Both top notch episodes.

I love that they keep bringing back that reference. (Dave Chappelle in "The Nutty Professor", right?)
Also the In Living Color/Fly Girls ref killed me last week. And I agree with the other thread that said Elisha Cuthbert has definitely gotten funnier ("Why don't you and the board get a room? A board room. YES!") this season, even if it meant turning her character Alex into a complete idiot.

Won't spoiler the Halloween episode, I'll just say Penny and Max's costume is amaz-balls!
