"CCH POUNDER!"
This will never stop being hilarious to me. Casey Wilson never disappoints when it comes to physical comedy.

Sadly that was her stunt double not disappointing with the physical comedy, and even more sad is that she had to get 16 stitches because of that... Pretty much worth it though.

I obviously have nothing interesting to add to this conversation.
And Casey was on Conan last night with an arm injury (she hurt herself having to fake-slap Damon Wayans Jr. over and over again) who would've guessed playing Penny was so dangerous?
Somehow it seemed so oddly perfect that she came out with an arm sling right after they showed the clip of her falling through the glass.
David Alan Grier will be joining the show as Brad's new boss
I'm sure they will work in some kind of joke like "Hey, you look familiar to me for some reason", or something similar.
I'm hoping for some kind of "Men on Film" gag/reference myself (it could work with DamonJr)
Here's a great part I somehow missed the first time:
I love how stupid Alex is.
That is probably the greatest spit take of all time.

I thought all the stuff with Dave in this episode was pretty clever, him getting the smallpox-infested blanket and then getting arrested for "scalping". All the Real World stuff was great too.
That might've been my favorite Dave storyline to date. It seemed like he was the character it took the longest for them to figure out, but I like they gave up and basically just turned him into the biggest tool on the planet (I love how nobody in the group even noticed he was gone the whole time) because it totally works.
Favorite lines:
"I am so tired of people using Vanilla Sky to defend everything!"
"I get to make my famous bad potatoes this year??"
"Reading is stupid. TV rules!"
And apparently Rock Bottom Remainders is a real thing. I thought for sure that had to be something the writers made up.
Also I meant to post this last week but forgot
It's a shame the show isn't doing too well in the new timeslot this year because it's in my top 3 favorite network sitcoms at the moment. Hopefully being around 57 episodes at the end of the season would be enough to at least get them another season because it sounds like ABC/Sony really wants the show to make enough episodes for syndication. Unfortunately, I think it's safe to say DTTB23 is probably donzo after it's run this year, which is too bad because these two shows really made a solid comedy block.
Why do you say that? Is DTTB23 doing really bad in the ratings or something? I think the main problem is there's just too many shows on Tuesday nights. Last night, I even found myself watching "The New Girl" live and saving Happy Endings for later because I wanted to see the Thanksgiving episode of The New Girl. And "Go On" and "The New Normal" are on Tuesdays too, I don't really like either of those shows but I think they're still doing well because of "The Voice" lead-in.
I agree with you that Happy Endings and DTTB23 work really well together as a block.
It makes me sad to think that at some point (maybe soon) we will be living in a world without any new Happy Endings or Community...
I obviously have nothing interesting to add to this conversation.
Tuesdays are a mess, all the comedies on at the same time on Tuesdays are cannibalizing each other, with ABC's comedies suffering the most, a show with a niche audience like this just doesn't stand a chance against New Girl and Go On. Plus DWTS is as bad as it gets as a lead-in for a comedy like this, at this point I think they'd probably do better if they moved them to Wednesdays at 10PM after Suburgatory. Or maybe they'll get lucky and get saved by TBS or some other cable station like Cougar Town, don't know how likely something like that is to happen again though.

I think ABC will move Happy Endings/The B to Wednesdays at 10 PM, as Nashville has been underperforming in the ratings, despite being ordered for a full season. 666 Park Avenue was just cancelled, so Nashville will probably move to Sundays, and that sets up HE/The B moving to 10 PM. They likely still won't do great, but at least it's a less competitive timeslot, and Suburgatory (as mueXog said) is a far better lead-in than DWTS.
Great episode with Rob Corddry and Jon Daly both playing huge dickwads.
AND HAIR HELMETS!
"Is there a 10 inch whore here? Because that was a low blow."
Corddry might be getting typecast the world's biggest prick, but I never get sick of it, I hope his character sticks around a bit longer.
I love Happy Endings. It makes me laugh consistently throughout every week. Even when they aren't huge laughs they're good laughs. This week had a lot of strong small jokes. THAT SAID. When Jon Daly did the turkey thing the first time I legitimately turned off my television and laughed for like five minutes. That was amazing.
How did they get that "quaint" line past the ABC censors?
By the way, Casey Wilson is guest hosting Chelsea Lately tonight and interviewing Adam Pally! I might have to watch that show for the first time ever.
Penny said her doctors name is "Dr. Spratt", was that a Childrens Hospital reference? Seemed like too much of a coincidence with Rob Corddry in this episode.
Were the hair helmets a Flight of the Conchords reference?
