Andy Dick Mounts a Comeback
Andy Dick makes his second appearance on GWF and first in studio as the ex-MTV star mounts his biggest battle yet: a showbiz comedback.
Andy talks about Celebrity Rehab, his arrest on the road, and waking up to Mickey Rourke having sex with somebody. Plus, working with Chevy Chase on "Community," drinking, his kids and why he's living in his ex's backyard in a Tuff Shed.
Plus, check out Jason and Pete's live performance on "This Week in Comedy" with host Ed Crasnick.

Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
Andy makes me laugh as hard as anyone. He's so talented, I really feel like he's going to do something big soon.
Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
Finally got to the Selman episode, and it reminded me that he would make a great Jeff replacement for the long haul. The way Selman constantly needles Jason (yet obviously wants his approval and friendship) coupled with the fact that he's so rich and elitist (though thoroughly likable), but still has genuine chemistry with Nash and Pete, who are neither of these things... it's just a great trio. Hope he's back again soon.
Between Selman's crack about "The Best Show" and the collective talk about Stern, it occurred to me that GWF could use a regular call-in feature. I know this is difficult logistically because you're not live on-air, and you don't have screeners or APs or whatever to weed out thae duds, but when GWF is at its best, it always felt to me like a less porno-y Stern from the 90s (the last era when I listened with any regularity). IIRC, Stern interacted with callers regularly back then, and it seemed like he talked to them the same way he talked to Gary or Stuttering John or whoever. There was no artifice.
I enjoy "The Best Show" a lot (though I haven't listened in a long time), but Scharpling's world is a mix of the genuine and artificial (to its credit). Nash and Co. offer something different for nerdy "alt" comedy fans. They offer up the Stern school of open conversation and seemingly no walls between performer and listener. When GWF did "bits" I would usually tune out. But when GWF was open and honest (and of course funny) with friends of the show, famous or otherwise, I always got excited. I'm not sure if any other podcast offers that to the discerning comedy nerd.
Of course, the argument against everything I said... Pink Hamster. So, maybe I'm way off base.
Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
new episode with old friend Jim Dugan.
http://www.guyswithfeelings.com/arch...0_JimDugan.mp3
"Merry Xmas from Dugan"
"GWF old favorite and the manliest Guy With Feelings Jimmy Dugan returns for a two part episode just in time for the holidays. Listen in as Jason, Jeff and Pete catch up with Jim and hear about his travels around the country, his new life as Dad and his fancy lunch with Nash.
Plus, Jeff and Pete don't want to perform Nash's sketch and Jeff gets on Nash about his Twitter practices: opening the grand Facebook battle of 2010. Lucky for the listeners: Dugan will judge."
pjz-going to get the phone call hook up soon. but it is hard to arrange
for callers. i love talking to people phone though. thanks for the post.

new GWF up today...Part 2 w/Dugan
Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
Great to hear GWF back.
The stories about yr mom are the best. Your pornographic grape story remined me of my mother after my daughter was first born. MY daughter has pretty full lips, so my mother would be holding the baby, fingering her lips and saying over and over again, "I love your pussy lips!" She had no idea what she was saying. I had to leave the room several times.
Nash, you should check this out..Rachel Drath commenting on the year in Boston Accents

Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
All new Guys With Feelings!!!!
Jen Kirkman visits the guys as they invite Jen to join the show full-time. Will the Chelsea Lately star accept? Also, impressions of Jason's Mom, a new game called "I Would Hit That," and the question is posed: "Who Has The Biggest Penis in Alternative Comedy." Plus, Jeff's son lays it down for Santa Claus and Matt Damon and Mark Mark's new Revolutionary War movie.
Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
MATT DAMON
This was a fantastic episode...between this & her appearance on NNF, it was the Week O' Kirkman.

FEBRUARY 3rd, 2011
New episode today with Jerry Minor.
Jerry Minor
The guys celebrate Jeff's birthday today with a visit from Delocated's Jerry Minor and his new character Pimp Eric. Jerry talks Delocated and his trip with Nash to the most awesome/worst bar in Orange County.
Then, Jeff's kid flies in a helicopter, Nash coaches youth basketball, and Pete throws down the law regarding his DVR. Also, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarek on the phone, the return of "How Did Oprah Introduce" (Jennifer Aniston!!!) and Mad Men in present day. Plus, Nash plays clips from the favorite show "The Bachelor", and Jeff's News.
Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
Great ep! Nice to have "How Did Oprah Introduce?" back.
Re: Guys With Feelings Returns
New Episode - February 10, 2011 - Today
Selman Takeover and the Lovely Tami Sagher
Jeff analyzes A-Rod and Cameron Diaz at the Super Bowl, Jason makes pico de gallo and burns his penis and Jeff interviews Principal Alegria, the principal of his kid's local public school.
Plus, GWF favorites Matt Selman and Tami Sagher stop by to reveal Selman's thoughts on marriage, the fact that Tami's feeling asexual and how she recently "picked up" a dude at an AA meeting. Listen in, as Selman irks Jason by trying to take over the show with his refusal to talk about anything that isn't "feelings".
Next, Jeff gets a theme song for his news and evenutally all hell breaks loose when Jason tells Selman he's sick of being disrespected. Was Selman out of line or is Jason too thin skinned? You be the judge.
