I'm still going of course, I just thought it was weird that it was basically the same price (I think it was 35 + 12.50 service charges when I saw him 2 years ago).
2 years ago was the tour before the show. I think last years tour, he made a jump in theater size and there was a big jump in ticket prices.
In NYC, he stopped having dates at Carolines a couple years ago and moved to a night at Town Hall or Radio City and with that tickets went up to more than $45. Also, he added shows in NYC and I got tickets, so I excited to go.
I saw him before it was cool, you guys.
Holy shit. I held off buying my ticket until I found out who might want to go. It was a risk because it was already limited to balcony seats if purchasing 2 or more tickets. I just checked and the show sold out. But a second show was added! I bought my single ticket - fourth row.
I am happy.
Yeah, but there's a difference between a CD or DVD that you burned yourself, and a nice well-designed package that you can showcase on your shelf or in a CD rack.
I'm a collector, so while I love this new bout of digital downloadable content, I kind of want some physical releases alongside them. I can't count how many times I've rewatched LCK's old specials on DVD, but his latest is less accessible because I can't just pop it into the XBOX in a room full of friends.

I am watching the Season 2 DVD and the episode with Dane Cook and the Lady Gaga tickets doesn't have a commentary track.
Dammit! I was hoping maybe Louis would have done a commentary for it and mentioned "those idiots on AST who thought I gave my daughter Lady Gaga tickets in a box".

So it's kind of weird (but awesome) to be seeing Louis CK getting coverage over the last couple days on every TV website I frequent (which is a lot -- gotta stay on top of things for my job and all). Good for him for getting mainstream enough to be covered like every other big TV show season launch! I'm so proud!
R U His DAd?
I love how Louie doesn't even get mad if his car gets smashed or a cab speeds away. Shitty things just keeps happening (and he probably deserves it for letting a dog lick his balls that one time.) The (ex-)girlfriend was great too!
Nice start to the new season!

Nice to see Gaby Hoffman all grown up. Don't think I've seen her since Everyone Says I Love You.
