    Funny or Die Presents

Back in March of last year , production started on 10 half hours for HBO called "Funny or Die Presents". Executive producers are Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Judd Apatow. It looks like the finished shows are going to start airing in February, starting on February 20th at midnight.

There hasn't been a complete announcement of what all 10 shows will be, although one stars Paul Scheer and Rob Riggle and is called "Designated Driver". Brett Gelman also filmed
his "1000 Cats" show at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles for the show, so that should also surface as part of the series. Slovin and Allen also apparently did some shooting for the series, sketches and comedy bits directed by AST's own Jason Woliner.

Hopefully we'll get more information soon on what else is going to be included. When the project was first announced, Will Ferrell said the following to Variety: "We do know we want it to be in the same family of the comedy that we're doing on the website -- just a wide range of anything from a funny offbeat talkshow to a maybe more-traditional-type sitcom to a show with puppets. We don't want to limit ourselves in any way, which is what we love about the stuff that we do for Funny or Die. The spitballing on these ideas is going to be the fun part of all this".

An article that talks about the Tim and Eric side of things.

The duo will contribute four sketches to the HBO debut of Funny or Die, a half-hour program filled with bite-size videos sprung from the twisted minds of the many comedians who contribute to FunnyorDie.com, the website started in 2006 by Ferrell and McKay.

Wareheim offered tantalizing details about two of the four: one is a "sitcom" dubbed "Just Three Boys," featuring him, Tim, and frequent collaborator Zach Galifianakis; another is a "religious talk show called 'Morning Prayer with Scott and Bear'" with guests Will Forte, Bob Odenkirk, and Frank Black (yes, that Frank Black).

Seems like we've been waiting ages for this!

Also I didn't think anyone could copyright wearing ski masks, but if they can I'm in full support of Glaser.

    From Paul Scheers Blog

12 weeks of “Funny or Die Presents” on HBO debuts Feb. 19/20
Check this out! HBO’s online schedule finally has a home for the 10 half-hours, which has turned into 12 weeks according to what HBO tells me, of new sketch comedy on TV thanks to Funny or Die, in their series Funny or Die Presents. It all premieres at midnight Friday on Feb. 19 (or, technically, 12:00:01 a.m. Feb. 20).
From my earlier reporting, I already told you that as a result of the FOD’s deal with HBO, we’d be treated to televised productions of Brett Gelman’s 1,000 Cats absurdity, a mini-miniseries starring Paul Scheer and Rob Riggle, and new sketches from Slovin & Allen. What else can we look forward to? Oooh, suspense! Here are the initial times for the first two episodes, as shown on HBO’s schedule (note: all times Eastern).

I always knew it was going to be a very mixed bag of shows, but the clips shown here look pretty poor... now this is judging on about 10 seconds of disembodied clips but i feel safe in saying if this show isnt the absolute worst thing in the history of the world i will eat my hat...or a sandwich

I hope its good. I have faith. Funnyordie.com rarely fails to amuse me, I hope it carries over well to the TV. If they stay close to the internet videos this should be great I think. We'll see.

i co-wrote and produced four sketches starring Dave Koechner. They're pretty good I think. Titled "Men of Unquiet Desperation."

One of the shorts glimpsed in the trailer, "Drunken History: Douglass and Lincoln", won the 2010 Sundance Film Festival Jury Prize for Short Filmmaking.

I am going to places in my mind in regards to this show that remind me of where my mind went in the months preceding the first Star Wars prequel. I'm trying very hard to brace myself for stark truths, but I can't help but hope that this is the most wonderful thing that anyone has ever been a part of.

    Re: Funny or Die Presents

I was able to see a few episodes early, and it's much different than I expected, but in a good way. All the sketches are great and the show is overall better than you'd think even from the trailers.

Recomendation: Be sure to torrent this/find somewhere to watch this online/get HBO
