    Feral Audio

Hello there! I'm one of the guys who helped found Feral Audio, my name is Stig. I know there's already a pre-existing Feral Audio thread, but seeing as it's pretty dead I figured I'd start a new one to more formally introduce the network and our shows.

Feral is a bit different from our competitors, we're a literal collective powered entirely by volunteers, and all money that comes in to Feral Audio is shared between talent & production in an 80/20 split. This has allowed us to recruit some great voices, and given us an incredibly large and varied podcast line-up. In our few short months of existence we've already debuted shows with Brody Stevens, Erin McGathy, Duncan Trussell, Little Esther, Matt Dwyer, Alie & Georgia, and Johnny Pemberton!

Here's our current slate of podcasts:

    SPECIALS

Flabbergast was really funny and fun and I want more of it, tell Sean Conroy to stop being such a "done-it-once'r" and to do it again.

    http://feralaudio.com/show/brainwarp-the-baby-eater/

Former Mr. Show writer Eric Hoffman (also co-wrote Comedy by the Numbers) has a pretty insane new podcast on Feral Audio call "Brainwarp the Baby Eater" and features Bob Odenkirk, Matt Walsh, Matt Besser and more in the first two episodes. Walsh plays Captain Lunatic, who fans of the UCB sketch show will probably remember.

What ever happened to Please Be My Girlfriend? I liked that. They sort of reminded me of a Southern Stop Podcasting Yourself.

Brody's been on a roll with his recent string o' podcasts, with some funny stuff and lots of Brody style repetition. I will admit that it was nice to hear recent guest Liam Mceneaney call him out on the somewhat insensitive '10 percent gay' bit he's been off on.

The thing with Howard and Jensen was exemplary. I reeeeeeeally hope Howard follows up, finds more tapes and they do more of them.

There are two Feral Audio threads...MODS!

Very interesting interview with Dustin Marshall...
    http://tmblr.co/ZRFhvteVXbCI

Kind of for HC podcast nerds but he has a really interesting back story and drops some interesting information.

I hadn't heard about this at all:
    http://www.chud.com/120711/bob-odenk...n-new-podcast/
This brings me to former Mr. Show writer Eric Von Hoffman’s Brainwarp: The Baby Eater, a new comedy podcast from Feral Audio in 6 chapters. Based on Hoffman’s stage show, which was named “Best Late-Late-Night Theatre Show of the Year” by Newcity Chicago, the part serial, part sketch show podcast follows the world’s dumbest super-villain, the titular Brainwarp the Baby Eater, as he goes on a crime spree to pay his rent and must evade crime-fighters from various genres. One of the great things about podcasts is how easily they are to put together compared with a film or TV show, which allows Hoffman to utilize his comedy pals in a way that would be harder to pull-off elsewhere. Bob Odenkirk (Mr. Show, Breaking Bad) plays the dark pulp hero THE PIPE (as well as a depressive gold hawker). Matt Walsh (Veep, UCB cofounder) plays the rage-filled CAPT. LUNATIC (a character he played on the UCB television series). Matt Besser (Walk Hard, UCB cofounder) plays BRAINWARP’S BOSS at his part-time job. Mike Monterastelli (CHUD.Com) plays the “Clint Eastwood on acid” cop, PINKY SKINK. And Hoffman himself plays the incompetent BRAINWARP. Each episode also features two alternative musical guests, like Liam Lynch (Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny, Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic), Family, Mars Argo, and The Fancy.
Just wish Sean Conroy would get interested in his podcast again...

    Re: Feral Audio

Perhaps, the wrong place for this question, but does anybody on the boards know how Feral functions differently as a podcast collective than say Earwolf as a podcast network? Is it in pay, advertising, other stuff?
