Extreme Movie (aka Parental Guidance Suggested)

This probably doesn't deserve its own thread, although maybe it does. This movie, which was filmed in 2006 and is finally coming out on DVD on February 24th, is basically a "Kentucky Fried Movie" or "Amazon Women on the Moon"-ish sketch movie with all the sketches dealing with the topic of teenage sex. The movie has a large cast including Michael Cera, Ryan Pinkston, Frankie Muniz, Jamie Kennedy, Kevin Hart, Matthew Lillard, Andy Milonakis, Joanna Garcia, and others. Will Forte, John Solomon (Forte's writing partner on SNL), Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone are credited with contributing to the script (although who knows how much of their contributions made it to the final product). The movie was directed by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson, who wrote "Not Another Teen Movie".

The movie leaked already and is available online. Unfortunately, I downloaded it last night, so I haven't had a chance to watch it all the way through yet. I scanned through it quickly and it does look very "Amazon Women on the Moon"-ish, even down to the way it is shot; it has a very late '80s look to it. I spotted Kyle Gass in one scene. Once I watch it, I'll be able to give a more detailed review and let you all know whether it's worth wasting your time on.

Brasky, when will you stop watching these movies? I'm worried about you.

It's not one of the Date Movie/Disaster Movie/Dance Movie ones. "Not Another Teen Movie" was really funny.

Haha....well, it was really only the writing credits that had me interested in this at all. I'm pretty sure the bulk of this movie was written before Forte, Samberg, Akiva, And Jorma got hired at SNL. It looks like they were probably hired to write the movie based off their work writing for the MTV Movie Awards (Epstein and Jacobson were also MTV Movie Award writers). I'm pretty sure the movie is terrible, but I'm interested in any sketch-type movies because they really don't make very many of them these days. Despite the new, awful title, this isn't a spoof movie- it looks like just a series of skits that are barely connected to one another.

I actually found a site where you can watch the movie online , thus eliminating the need to even download it. I really couldn't make this easier for you all

I don't care who's in it or who makes it. I will never see a movie that features Andy Milinokis.
Garrett Gonzalez Morris (born February 1, 1937) is an American comedian and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was part of the original cast of the sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live, appearing from 1975 to 1980

For the British flautist, see Gareth Morris.

Not to spoil anything most of you won't ever see, but this film includes a gay sex scene with Lincoln via time travel...

So, take that for what its worth, not a good movie, but i was amused more with this than i was "the Onion movie."

Actually, the sketch with him in it is pretty much the only funny part of the movie. It's kind of a ripoff of the part in "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex..But Were Afraid to Ask" with Gene Wilder falling in love with a sheep, but there's no denying it's funny in a very low-brow way. The rest of the movie's pretty worthless (not even that much female nudity for a supposedly "unrated" movie).

Brasky, you didn't like the Lincoln segment?

The milinokis part was well done for what it was, but i feel like i've seen that joke a few times before in a better context. I thought it was interesting that the main title credits has ZERO female names, and the 'big' names are only in the movie for less than 4 minutes.

I started watching part of it thanks to Brasky's link. Looks pretty average sub-par. Again I was also interested in this seeing that Will Forte, and the lonely island was involved. Definitely not a film worthy of a theatrical release. Honestly, Aside from Apatow films(And Kevin Smith)are there any quality raunch comedies out there? They got this Still Waiting sequel also coming out that's another direct-to-dvd shit-pile. I'm gonna be honest the first one wasn't that good to begin with.

I thought the first part of the Lincoln sketch was OK (and I'm including the opportunity to see Lucy from "7th Heaven" in her underwear), but the second part was just gross and unfunny.
