You could hardly find a bigger Andy Daly fan than I. I am basically president and CEO of the Andy Daly fan club.

    THAT SAID...

Holy shit has season two been hilarious.

I seriously laugh until I cry every week.

    God bless these men.

Just watched Sunday's episode. Looks like my hopes came true and the series picked up and became amazing again.

I would say that was by far the best episode of the season. We really got to see Kenny break down completely. Plus the twist at the end... can't wait to see where they take the rest of the season.

What's the deal with Ben Best not being involved as a writer? Who is Shawn D. Harwell? And why does his IMDB page say his alternate name is Ben T. Best?

I also read some AV Club interview with Danny McBride where he offhandedly mentioned Ben Best was going through some drug problems or something to that effect. Does anyone know what's goin on?

Is season 2 only 6 episodes like s1? If so, I hope Andy Daly comes back at some point. Would be a shame, since it doesn't seem like he does anything anymore.

    Season 2 is 7 episodes.

And Andy Daly is in the NBC midseason series "The Paul Reiser Show", if it ends up airing.

This is a fantastic article by Vice magazine about E&D, and Rough House Pictures, their sort of new American Zoetrope production company put together by Jody Hill, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green and company:

So glad they'll be able to complete their plan for the show. If any show deserves to see its full conclusion, it's this one.

The triumphant return of Adam Scott! Did you see the way he was squirming with delight during that bit after the baseball game? Amazing. Best episode of the season so far. Can't wait for the finale.

    Spoiler:

I was so happy to see Adam Scott back!

He has gotta be my favourite dude of the year, his return as Pat Anderson was just the icing on a cake filled with the almighty Party Down, his great couple of Parks & Rec episodes, stealing all his scenes in Piranha 3D, playing one of the funniest characters in Childrens Hospital and being not just amazing in his CDR & DLM appearances, but genuinely being a big fan and regular listener of the podcasts he was appearing on. And there's still 2 months of the year left for him to top all of that shit. Go Adam Scott, go!

Sooo many memorable lines from this season. Can't wait to rewatch everything all over again. I just love how he continues to trash Mexico.

They also do a fantastic job with the music they use. How great was that montage at the end of Episode 5 with that awesome Slits cover of I Heard It Through The Grapevine? It gave me goosebumps.

Wow, that was perfect. I'm so glad they brought all the Season 1 people back, and I'm always - always - impressed by just how great these guys are at hitting such emotionally satisfying high notes. This show is so smart and insane and even though I love this show for doing these short-and-sweet Britcom-style seasons, I'm sad it's over again already.

What a great end to a season! It felt so good to see all the characters from season one.
