I remember watching that 1,000 cats nonsense and envisioning Gelman and Chris Elliott in a show together.... so this is like a wonderful, wet, slightly suicidal dream come true.


My only complaint: I wish Elliott was playing Gelman's character and that Gelman was playing Elliott's character and that Gelman's character (now played by Chris Elliott) was the hero and star and the toughguy winner (previously played by Elliott, but now Gelman) was the sidekick, despite being the hero.

Amazing episode. Best one yet! Elliott's physicality on that 1st death punch was perfect! Those silly retarded dancing moves I've always loved by him. I will now use "A quick C-note slop n flop" as a reference to all sex. I defy my cock to get laid now.

Words cannot describe how happy this show being on my TV makes me. Death Punch made me feel like I was 14 and watching Chris eat his alien friend again.

The constant ramping up of the absurdity was pure genius.

Death Punch won me over. I was a little worried that Elliott was going to be playing almost something of a straight man surrounded by other characters that get to be far more absurd...

Obviously that was just the worry of a hopped up on goofballs rootin tootin something or other... I don't really remember what I was talking about at this point and I would ask you kindly to leave, sir.

Man, that twist in Death Punch (the bowling tournament thing) is one of the funniest intentionally dumb jokes in television history.

The only thing I'd change about this episode was the explosive sweater. It should have been knitted out of Primacord!

"How about I see the motion detectors first und trip their alarm?" That und had me laughing non-stop, for no explainable reason.

Reminded me of a similar thing on the Delocated episode involving the twin brother when Glaser goes "Taking lemons, making LONmonade." They shouldn't, but these barely noticeable verbal non-jokes make me laugh like nothing else.

And I agree that there's something undeniably charming about Chris Elliott's weird physicality.

What I mean to say is, I love everything about this show.

My God. For me, this is by far the funniest show on TV right now. The twins episode made me laugh out loud (while watching by myself) no less than five times.

You can't fake the level of eye-creepiness that the twins had... you just can't. Those guys are actually creepy and I think they were even creeping out the other actors and members of the crew.
