that's a reasonable assessment.

I thought Vic Garcia was very funny and I laughed a lot. But I listened to it after reading this thread. I can see how someone expecting a regular Benson Interruption would have a different experience.

I liked Vic Garcia. Personally, I think it's sometimes funnier when Adomian has a more tenuous grasp on his characters. Hearing the character morph from retired cop hack comic to retired cop, who's also still a current cop, as well as gay, power bottom, Satanist, and basically Andy Kindler, was hilarious, if also pretty tangential.
Anyway, the most recent episode is great. It's rare, I think, that all of the guests click as well as these guys did. Great grouping.
My favorite was Ben Schwartz at the very end.
"Are you kidding me?!"
Was anyone else here (besides Doug) at DCM? Vic seemed to play well in the room - am I wrong about that?
Garcia also seemed to have quite a bit of Paul Giamatti thrown in there as well, felt bad for Ben Schwartz at the end. Glad to hear he wasn't upset about it.
tomorrow's DLM taping at the palace station in vegas is going to be an interesting one. stop by if you're in the area!

Doug and DLM listeners! Here's some live video of Doug Loves Movies from the Weezer Cruise earlier this year. Shot by Weezer webmaster/videographer Karl Koch.

The new DLM episode is pretty solid. I was hesitant on Dan Hardy as a guest because he's one of my least favorite fighters, but he wasn't bad. Graham getting pissed about the crowd being against him was great.
The fact that there are faces and heels in the DLM games is pretty spectacular.
late response, but vic garcia - along with everything that spills out of james adomian's mind - was fucking great

Couldn't find a Dining With D&K thread, so I'll say it here:
The hot dog truck lady sounded distractingly like Meryl Streep.
That's all.
I love when Doug gets to yell at drunks.

Hey Doug, is the iDream of Siri competition a real thing?
Dan Hardy did not seem like an MMA fighter at all - a bit quiet but certainly seems like a real dude...
