"I wish I could keep 'goodwodd' for six furlongs."

Doug was great on Morgan Spurlocks New Britannia.

New episode is amazing and should be subtitled: Doug Says the Darnedest Things to Kids.

The whole episode, I was saying to myself, "Wait, isn't Dave Foley's daughter the little girl on 'The League'? Why are they worried about cursing in front of her? She's heard much worse!" So I was relieved when they finally addressed this at the end of the episode.

I'm really surprised that Samm didn't guess the movie in the LMG just based off of "1983" and "has a chase scene set in a forest". The clues really didn't help at all, but I guessed just off those two things and was right.

Since you're expecting my opinion, i'll say that the twist works. It's basically the same as doing two-strikes-and-you're-out, allows you to make another pot-reference, and still provides a way for you to participate and demonstrate your mastery.

The Doug Out is independent of whether Build Deez Nutz is a good idea. I think either version of the game has a limited lifetime of interest (which we have yet to exceed), but the ABC a Title tweak would prolong interest by several weeks.

Adina was actually awesome. Actually, i normally love Doug with kids, but Adina was actually even more delightful than most.

I actually spent much of this episode trying to ascertain what word Kids in the Hall used in the Ascertain sketch:

Actually, it turns out that the word was "ascertain."

Greatest guest of all time, bar none--cry-laughing at work. Abby Elliot has serious competition for the funniest progeny ever...

supplementary viewing material to the podcast:

Dave preps his daughter about the podcast, warning her that there will be profanity, and there are no bad words... just bad people.

    an elegant spit take

as per Dave's instructions "look scared".

    .
That was the big twist of the episode to me. Big fan of The League and when they just casually dropped she was Ellie during "plugs" it was Shyamalanian(now an adjective)

I just sat for a good three minutes trying to pronounce "Shyamalanian".
Alina is my favorite guest ever.

So I played the ABC game with my son and won. It was great. He challenged me on Klute and busted me for pulling a Graham Elwood (Two of a Kind is a movie although I had to confess that I was thinking of the TV show).

Honorable mention for awesome guest: Haki (Hockey?), the cab driver in Atlanta. I wanted Doug to ask him to come be an actual guest on the live show.
