o my Yogi Bear's Grandma Cock in Denver, YEAH!!!
barely. he got a flat on mullholland. said he had to buy something for the prize bag from the bookstore near UCB because of it. but wouldn't he have or not have a prize in the car before he got the flat? hmmm.
Maybe he had planned on giving his spare tire as a prize.
i'm only here right now because twitter is down.
anyone else have issues with the most recent NYC ep? Part 1 says its 50 minutes long, but for whatever reason I can't seem to get past the 22 minute mark, if I let it play through or try and skip ahead, it will automatically skip to part 2.
Judging by the fact that no one else has brought this up, I can only assume I'm the only one. Any Itunes experts know a way to redownload or something?
Send an email to iTunes support and tell them what happened. It happened to me once before. They will allow you to redownload it.
That has happened to me in the past. Delete the file, unsubscribe to DLM and then resubscribe. When you update it will get that ep again and hopefully not bug out.
Fuck books, you don't read them anyway. Make a documentary about podcasts. I heard a statistic saying like only 5% of the population of people know what a podcast is. You're like the 3rd dude (only behind Gervais and Pardo) to do this at such a high level. The doc could just be you doing the current podcast circuit and talking to folks involved with it in between. You could even maintain the current Spurlock theme and call it "Podsome" or "Potsome".
you lost me at "fuck books."
Today's ep was pretty intense, but I guess that was par for the course with that lineup. My favourite moment was how offended Jeff was to be lumped in with TJ and Pete as one of the most annoying guests. Maybe this will be a turning point I his life, and from now on he'll be a considered, thoughtful and meek podcast guest. Oh god, Doug, what have you done??
Oh my word. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Believe the hype.
This is a keeper.
PS. The end bit repeats though, and it cuts off abruptly.
yeah, three times. thanks for the heads up.
(isos?)
"You laugh like the cartoon shoe being dipped."
oh, so that's why one of those guys was yelling "roger rabbit reference!"
File fixed. Delete and redownload as necessary.
Comedy as a test of will, very much like Adam Corolla or Kevin Smith's rants. I find it's best listened to in small bursts but like both is very funny that way.
I can just picture Doug swilling down the drinks to stave off the headache though...
Oh, Doug. It was nice hearing your voice for a few minutes at the beginning. (I'm 11 minutes in)
Loved the surprise cameo at the end. Also Pete's Daniel Plainview had me laughing uncontrollably.
That was the best episode. Felt like it was only 10 minutes long.
10 x 5!
In under two minutes PT&J were all talking at once
I need to listen again to pick up all the nuances
sorry. somebody should make a podcast documentary, but it's not going to be me.
Pete's Seinfeld makes me think of Paul Giamatti.
I just wanted to correct this extremely egregious error on Doug's part:
It's TJ who brings Doug out of silence at around 10:30, not Jeff.
A spoken apology in the next episode will suffice. Thanks, Doug!
Happy 300 pages of DLM discussion, Doug!
That. Episode. Was. Awesome.
Doug - Another "Not for Emetophobes" for you:
Spoiler:
It might make more sense to put the title before the spoiler, otherwise you don't know whether you want to see it or not.
But then I'd be revealing that the movie had a scene like that in the first place. That's the real spoiler.
What's a spoiler
