Will there be a Dining with D&K this month?
Will there be a Dining with D&K this month?
maybe. we're trying to line up a guest and a chef at a time when both karen and i can do it, and that's not easy.
(it'll happen someday!)
so the LA city council has voted to unanimously close marijuana dispensaries. some early adopters might be grandfathered in, but most will be closed. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lano...cal-marijuana/
how are you holding up, doug? thoughts?
edit: this is genuine concern on my part and real interest in your opinion, but i realized this sounds kinda smug and i don't know how to rephrase it. i love pot and LA seemed like a magical land of delicious dank bud to me.
Hi Doug! I just spent the latter part of my day at work creating a kick-ass nametag. I'll have to work on Sunday to make up the billable hours, but it was totally worth it! Can't wait for your show tomorrow! I've been praying you would perform in Pittsburgh since I moved here three years ago. Yay Doug's coming to town!
Smooches,
Kelly

How would one go about spotting you in Blade Runner? What scene? What are you wearing? etc
Is it a street crowd scene where you're somewhere in the middle, or are you actually clearly visible?
my interruption of ABE LINCOLN: VAMP HUNTER tonight at cinefamily in l.a. is sold out, but tickets are still available for my interruption of M. NIGHT'S THE VILLAGE on monday, august 27.

Thanks for all the bonus material this week! As a suggestion for a new Dining with D & K you should check out Towne in downtown LA. I went last week. Had the pork belly sliders, lobster mac and beef cheek pot roast. So good. Plus they had gourmet pop tarts, twinkies and push-pops with homemade ice cream for desert. It's almost like the menu was made to cater to upscale stoners.
