Per scamboogah, one post ago: "He just said on the tweets that it's bi-weekly, and eventually homo-weekly. "

Or alternately, per the slightly more trustworthy source of Mr. Dana Gould on Twitter: "it's bi-weekly, but I expect it will eventually become homo-weekly."

Who you trust in this life is a choice that only you can make. But considering the vast amount of conflicting information between these two quotes above, I'm sure you can tell where my support lies. Good day.

This brings up an interesting point. What podcasts do people listen to on a regular schedule here? For me it's:

    MONDAY- Never Not Funny
    Comedy Bang Bang
    TUESDAY- Bullseye!
    WEDNESDAY- Who Charted?
    THURSDAY- Improv4Humans
    FRIDAY- Doug Loves Movies
    Sklarboro Country

Whenever one drops: How Did This Get Made?, Gelmania (is this going to be regularly on Fridays now?), Earwolf Presents, Pod F. Tompkast, Dead Authors Podcast
Occasionally, if there's a guest that really interests me: Nerdist, WTF, Todd Glass Show
Ones I started listening to but have stopped: You Made It Weird, Making It With Riki Lindhome

I'm not really sure about Ronna and Beverly. I guess that will be a "if there's a guest I'm interested in" type podcast.

Dana Gould I'm sure I'll listen to weekly.

There you go, I'm sure that was of interest to everyone, feel free to spin this off into its own thread if you like. Do we have a general podcast thread here?

Probably fits into "favorite comedy podcasts," which is where I'll continue it.

I'm not a violent man. I strongly believe it belongs in the ring or self defense. But I tell you, had you said this to me within reach, I would have punched you square in the face. And not even on purpose. But like a natural defensive instinct. I believe any Judge or Jury would agree my crime of passion was justified. I believe, later, you would thank me.

Saw this on Dana Gould's tumblr the other day so I thought it was new but it is dated 2007 so he has had this Murry Wilson obsession for a while. So awesome to see Peter Bagge animation...Seems there are three of them...

Dana was on the panel for the Kurt Braunholer IFC show "Bunk" taping I attended, and he was hilarious. I very badly wanted to ask about Murry Wilson's new podcast but did not get the chance. The show seems like it could be really good. The episode I saw was a bit up and down but had some hilarious moments.

Re: The Dana Gould Hour (podcast)

There's an interesting segment in the documentary Los Angeles Plays Itself where they talk about the parallels between how the LAPD behaved in reality during the initial run of Dragnet, and how those qualities (inhuman callousness, an adherence to un-nuanced interpretations of "facts," sneering and demeaning anyone who didn't fit the police's "preferences") brought about widespread police brutality (as a reaction the Bloods and Crips came to be). Dragnet and Jack Webb were an indictment of a real police force that destroyed civil rights and incited more violence than they curbed.

The Carney episode was great! The Disney/Goofy talk had me rolling. It's rare that I know who any of his guests are besides Eddie Pepitone, but they are always hilarious.
