Hey remember "The Dana Carvey Show"? . . . I do. Does anyone know of a place to by shows on DVD? I just checked amazon and came up with nothing. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

"Blessed are the sexless for they shall be like angels in heaven."
This was definitely a comedy show. I'm moving it.
There's no DVD, but you can watch them all online (legally) at Hulu.
I watched through the Dana Carvey Show about a month ago. A lot of it hold up well. I remember watching it when it was on tv in my parents' basement with my Dad asking me why some of the stuff was funny. Some of the political bits went over my head (I was a bit young for politics at the time), but still very good.
It's neat to see Steve Carrel and Stephen Colbert at the begining of their careers in a setting other than The Daily Show.
Somebody at the TV Funhouse Panel (I forget who) mentioned that it will be on DVD in passing. Since all the hulu and netflix (you can watch it on netflix) are a little edited they seem PREPPED for DVD.

Thanks for putting up that Hulu link. I love episode 3.

I'm so glad to hear this is coming out on DVD! Now I just hope John Leguizamo's sketch show House of Buggin' makes it on DVD someday -- I'd love to see it again. My best friend and I still quote Luis Guzman (as one of two guys who would sit in the back of a theater and comment about movies) when he found out that Jim Carrey was paid more than Jeff Daniels for Dumb and Dumber: "That's messed up, 'cuz Dumber should get paid more than Dumb!" And there was a great spoof of West Side Story that involved a real NY gang meeting up with a West Side Story-style gang. I wish House of Buggin' and the Dana Carvey Show had lasted longer than they did.
You can also get the first season through iTunes RIGHT NOW!
like the others said, it's on hulu and i love that i can watch it again and again!

So I started up Episode 5 of the Dana Carvey show... Is it just me, or does the person who asks the question at the begining of the show look like he probably grew up to be Jesse Camp?

i actually posted about that years and years ago on this board.
here is the screenshot i took (from the old brutallo bootleg dvd of this show):
for the record: camp was a east coast trust fund kid, so him being at the taping wouldn't be out of the question. i still think it's actually him.
Last I heard, commentaries are waiting on Carrel and Colbert to be free.
