I haven't seen this date listed anywhere else, but The Futon Critic has Comedy Bang! Bang! the TV show as premiering on Friday, March 9th (same day as the Portlandia Season 2 finale):

Comedy Bang! Bang! is a sketch variety show featuring celebrity guests, comedy sketches, and animation. The series is hosted by Scott Aukerman (co-creator/director/producer, "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis"; writer/performer, "Mr. Show"), and based upon his popular podcast of the same name. Music will be provided by the show's resident one-man bandleader, Reggie Watts (comedian/musician/artist/writer/performer as seen on Conan's live tour and on TBS as well as his Comedy Central special "Why $#!+ So Crazy") Comedy Bang! Bang! is produced for IFC by Abso Lutely Productions; Aukerman, Dave Kneebone and Leo Allen serve as executive producers. Jennifer Caserta, Debbie DeMontreux, Christine Lubrano and Evan Shapiro serve as the executive producers for IFC.

Scott also said on the podcast that there may be a way for us to check it out early, I'm guessing an early online release, but I'm sure he'll let us know when that time comes.

Love having Reggie as "bandleader." I kind of hope he really isn't there every week and Scott just thanks him off-camera for flying in. Or I would if the awesomeness of having Reggie actually there every week didn't outweigh the awesomeness of the bit.

I guess The Futon Critic was partly right, there will be an "extended sneak peek" at Comedy Bang! Bang! following the season finale of Portlandia on March 9th.

I hope they don't go overboard with the editing of reactions Scott and whatever guest(s) have toward the character.

I just hope this show finds a way to retain a bit of the natural charm and format it has on the podcast.

I hope they don't ruin Would You Rather by adding a child in the fifth season like Family Ties or Growing Pains.

I hope they don't succumb to studio pressure and just go for ratings by having boobs instead of comedy.

I hope they don't substitute Scott Aukerman with Stone Cold Steve Austin because everybody loves Stone Cold Steve Austin and Scott Aukerman probably can't even do a Stone Cold Stunner.

So the fuck what if dude is a long time member. That makes him better at posting commentary on comedy than people who registered after him? Think about how that sounds. Very silly. In my head the best way to go about the Comedy Bang Bang TV would probably be the way The Ricky Gervais Show did it (just with new content). That said, I know I only think that because I've only seen one other podcast to TV adaptation. Scott has never been involved in anything I didn't like (I own 2 copies of Shark Tale, just in case I lose the other one) and I can't imagine this will be where it starts. I'm also a fan of a lot of other IFC programming (Portlandia, Todd Margaret, Dinner with the Band).
