I had an idea for a t.v. show where comedians would compete to be the next Seinfeld. It would sort of be like American Idol where the contestants would all sing. Then the winner would be bestowed upon them a vest and a brick wall and they could tour under the name Seinfeld.
I would kill to write like JS or LD. It's to the point where I can't watch an episode of Seinfeld or Curb w/o analyzing the writing and timing wishing I could duplicate the style.
I recently watched "The Parking Garage" (Kramer buys an air conditioner/they can't find the car) and listened so intently to what was written and how it fit. And this ep is 20 years old!! Oy...
