Paul Scheer posted this amazing interview with Chevy Chase on his Tumblr.
Howard Stern is an amazing interviewer, and Chevy Chase is a profoundly fascinating guy. If you've ever wanted to hear from Chevy, this is the place to do it.

It's been taken down but anyone familiar with the wide world of Bit Torrent should be able to find it easy. I'm downloading it right now.
I know for a long time Chevy Chase hated Stern (after Stern called Chase's house). But Everyone gets older and I guess stuff like that gets smaller as we move farther and farther from the past. That's why I like Stern now. He doesn't have that need to shock anymore (Sal and Richard on the other hand...).
This is a great interview!

Are there any other Howard Stern interviews that people can recommend? I don't have Sirius and I don't always download because the gossip and shit-talking can get monotonous, but I do like his interviews.
Look for the Tracy Morgan interview from this past spring, so precious that one.
Awesome, thanks for this!
I'm dying, howard.
This was pretty good.
Damn, I loathe Stern and have been put off by Chase's notorious assholness, but they're pretty decent here.
I listened to it, that was crazy when Chevy Chase said he was locked in the basement by his parents for pulling a knife on some kid at school.
Here is second part of that interview

My wife and I watched this on Howard TV over the weekend. It's really great - Chevy in particular is really funny and in a seemingly effortless way. I think it's been so long since I've seen him be so funny, it almost came as a shock, which wears off when you remember Chevy Chase is one of the funniest guys of all time.
As for other good Howard interviews ... where to start? I'm a huge fan, but I would say that some of his best interviews come in a situation where, like with Chase, he's coming off the reversal of some long-standing "feud." Howard had Rosie O'Donnell on the phone a couple months ago & it was fascinating.
On the other hand, his Paul McCartney interview was amazing, too, so maybe it comes down to respect or fascination. Howard's show is not always well-served when a great comedian stops by, because he just generally seems indifferent, if occasionally entertained (Patton and David Cross are two examples - Louis C.K., too, who gets a far better showcase on Opie & Anthony). On the other hand, Brad Garrett was on a couple weeks ago for the second time and was hysterical. Hysterical, I tell ya'!
There's really only a couple times I can think of a "name" interview just sort of going nowhere (Warren Beatty, Michael Richards), and even then it's sometimes good radio.
I'd love for him to have Seinfeld and Letterman on again someday. That's pure gold from the old days.
This is something that probably everyone here would want to listen to...
They take a fair amount of vacation time and have all these specials...This was the comedian interview special. Some of them are more conversational than others. The Richard Pryor one is very late in his career and he is pretty out of it. The Henny Youngman and Buddy Hackett ones are the only ones that were completely boring, but that could be just because I've never seen either of them.
Bernie Mac, Rodney Dangerfield, Chris Rock and Pat Cooper were all very good.

I have a collection of Gottfried interviews and he's always funny on there. They really roast him when he's on and it's so funny.

Today's Norm MacDonald interview was for the ages.
I don't know what the policies are on this sort of thing here so i wont post it, but doing a torrent search for today's howard stern show with MacDonald on it (9/25) was pretty easy to find.
It looks like Chris Rock was on yesterday too. Talked about his new special, his wife and the possibility that he's cheating on his wife!
Listening to the Rock one now, it's pretty good. I hear he gets on Howard and Robin about the Artie situation some too.
