Nine Sweaters is the comedy album of the DECADE. You heard it here first.

I have to go with Chewed Up as the best album, but Professional Humoredian and From Heaven were both awesome too. I also had the pleasure of seeing Louis CK and Doug Benson do the sets from their albums live this year, and that was amazing.

As I said in the Doug Benson thread...

what kind of on-line publication presents a list of great things with NO links to buy said things?

Also, I took this part of the Rocky LaPorte review personally; "He’ll never win over hipsters or alt-comedy nerds, but his position on this list is well deserved.".

They left off, "So suck on that, AST..."
I would second Duffy's list, and add Hedburg's 2-Pac-like feat of releasing great stuff more than 2 years post mortem.
Hey, check me out. I'm a ghost.

I thought Michael Ian Black's "I Am A Wonderful Man" was pretty solid.

Does Jimmy Dore's cd count since it was also a tv special?

If Sklar Maps counts, then that's my vote. Otherwise, Louis CK, Todd Barry, and Doug Benson were all too awesome to decide.

Wasnt Sklar Maps 2 years ago? Other than that, I think Professional Humoredian is definitely at the top

Yeah, I know, but someone else mentioned it so I figured I'd just declare my hardcore love for the Sklar Brothers.

    Gotta go "Nine Sweaters."

Or that Coldplay album with the Joe Satriani cover.

I love Professional Humoredian like a child or family member. It's so perfect. Citizen Jimmy's pretty damn good and Do You Believe In Gosh was fun, but clearly not finished. I'm going to have to pick up Chewed Up later today. And I've been meaning to order Nine Sweaters, but I think my wife got me it for Xmas. I like Todd Barry, I think, but I never feel compelled to buy any of his cds, no real reason.
