Didn't Aukerman get in some trouble last year for leaking what really happened with the Eminem/Borat thing? I really doubt MTV would bring him back after that...

I first fell in love with Aziz when I heard his track on Invite Them Up like 4 years ago. And when you love something that is kind of small and relatively unknown like that I think it's natural to sort of feel extra connected to it and feel like it's "yours." And him hosting the MTV awards is the biggest sign yet that he's no longer "mine" and is now "everyone's," which is what bums me out.

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

I noticed that Aziz is playing the Mountain Winery just south of San Jose this summer, and all I have to say is that this is an awful idea.

The only time I've ever been to the Mountain Winery was last year to see Duran f-ing Duran, which should give you an idea of the size of the place. In addition to the size, it's filled with wine-sipping a-holes who won't shut up for a rock concert they paid $75 for. I can only imagine the noisy din that Ansari is going to be competing with all night.

Maybe the worst environment for a comic since Opie & Anthony thought up the phrase 'Traveling Virus'...

never been to the mountain winery, but i know people who saw david spade with todd glass there maybe 4-5 years back. they enjoyed it. probably didn't pay $75 a ticket though.
