Crystal thanks you for watching
I learned that I'm super annoying while watching this show. I was constantly squealing at the monkey's antics. Crystal the Monkey is my favorite actress.
NBC has officially pulled this from their schedule, replacing it with reruns of 'Whitney" from here on out.
That sounds like "cancelled" to me. It sounds like NBC is planning to put "Whitney" on Wednesday nights with "Guys with Kids", which makes sense, put the two crappy multi-cam sitcoms together in the same block. The article says that "Whitney" is scheduled to return on Wednesday, November 14th; still no word on "Community" yet.
This news isn't really surprising I guess; I suppose it was inevitable. "Animal Practice" was showing signs of becoming kind of repetitive anyway, the last few episodes haven't been that great and I think they probably realized they weren't going to be around for long and kind of stopped trying. I wonder if "Up All Night" will be next to be cancelled.
I'm so sad right now. Where else am I going to find a monkey dressed up as a doctor on a weekly basis?
There is a firm law of television that states if you have a show with a monkey it will fail unless you remove said monkey from said show. Hopefully not by death.
I actually really liked this show. It's no Community or Parks and Rec, but it was a fun way to spend 22 minutes a week. Sad to see it go.
I obviously have nothing interesting to add to this conversation.
Yeah, it's disappointing that it didn't at least get to air all 13 episodes, but I guess it's not too surprising with the kind of ratings they were getting, I still can't believe more people are into watching "Guys with Kids" over this. It also looked like June Diane Raphael and Brian Huskey were becoming semi-regulars in the last couple episodes, too bad.
The puppet episode sold me on this being kind of dumb, but really funny at times. Bobby Lee had me doing the old "too loud laugh".
I saw an ad yesterday advertising Halloween episodes of this and "Guys with Kids" next week. I wonder if that ad wasn't pulled in time or they really are planning on showing the Halloween episode?
Please, for the love of all that is holy, let me be able to see this Halloween episode. I feel as if Crystal the Monkey will have on an array of hilarious costumes.
I heard they cancelled it because the monkey asked for more bananas...

I really hope Annie's Boobs show up somewhere else.
Maybe they'll at least put the remaining episodes up on Hulu eventually, kinda like they did with last years "Free Agents" which NBC yanked off their schedule even faster if I recall, I think after only 3 episodes.
The way I read the article was that all episodes shot will be aired on Wednesdays until Whitney starts back on 11/14.

Hmm, so it looks like they're still playing the Halloween episode tonight? They've been playing commercials for it anyway and it's listed on the channel guide. Can that be right?
No idea when the final episode will air. 30 Rock is airing on Wednesday night due to The Voice rerun on Thursday.

For anyone interested in seeing the remaining shows, they put up the final 3 unaired episodes on Hulu.
