Good, strong, cheap drinks. Low cover. Free, fairly abundant parking - and your car won't get broken into. Check their website for 2 for 1 admission coupons: http://roostertfeathers.com/internet_special.htm
Rooster's, if you can get past the brain-damaged name, is a good club. PA coverage is spotty off to the sides - try to get seats in the center. Far better than the Improv in San Jose.

Arj starts tonight at Rooster's. $15.
Arj has put on the funniest, most airtight sets of his career the last 3 times I've seen him. He's also been writing a lot, so lots of new material compared to what you might have seen him do before.

Mary, do you know if Brent's doing lots of new material when he's out in the hinterlands (aka Sunnyvale), or if he's going to reprise his greatest hits?

I can't speak to this, but I saw Brent do a guest set last week at the Punchline and a lot of it was new to me and it was greattttttt.

Bump.
I'll be here Wednesday the 17th (tomorrow night) for their weekly local talent night.
8 p.m. in Sunnyvale. If you do come, say you came for me. I'll get more time, then make out with you.

Again, the serial killing thing I'm not so big on.
However, if it's not pouring, we'll try to make it down for the cheap, strong drinks, and jokes about serial murder.

I appreciate it - I know the weather isn't exactly cooperative for driving lately.
And I haven't murdered anybody in weeks.
(but my evil self has)

Great show last night! The place was packed and lots of great comedy, all around.
This club has been a lot of fun to perform at recently and the staff is great. They've got their annual comedy competition coming up in the New Year. If nobody minds, I'll post when I know when I'm set to perform for that.
